WNBA Draft 2025 Odds Picks

The worst thing about sports is waiting: for the next game, a new season, to find who will draft the best college players, etc. However, with women’s basketball and the WNBA, that is not the case. A new champion was just crowned, and the WNBA Draft is already here.

As with most things involving sports, many sportsbooks have odds posted for various WNBA Draft prop bets. Who’s going first is not hard to figure out, but let’s take a look at several of the other WNBA Draft prop bets and their odds.

WNBA Draft 2025 Picks and Best Bets

WNBA Draft: No. 1 Pick

If you really want to bet on who will be the first pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft - UConn superstar Paige Bueckers - you can, of course. But you’ll need to risk a substantial amount of money just to win $100. FanDuel has her odds to go No.1 at -20000.

That translates into a 99.5% chance. To win $100, you’ll need to bet $20,000. Let’s move on to No. 2.

WNBA Draft: No. 2 Pick

Three players have been getting the most attention from draft analysts:

  • Dominique Malonga: -430 (FanDuel)

  • Sonia Citron: +500 (FanDuel)

  • Kiki Iriafen: +1500 (FanDuel)

How can I describe how impressive Malonga is?

She’s been referred to as the female Victor Wembanyama, and not just because she’s really tall and from France. She’s a beast at the rim, like you’d expect a 6’6” center to be, she moves well on the court, and she can step up and hit a three-pointer.

Olivia Miles was expected to go No. 2, but then she decided to transfer to TCU rather than enter the draft. Kiki Iriafen and Sonia Citron were popular choices in mock draft back in November and December.

Google her name and watch a few of the clips of her playing in Europe (and one with her dunking like it was nothing when she was 16), and you’ll understand why Malonga is the right call at No. 2.

WNBA Draft: No. 3 (and/or 4) Pick

Notre Dame guard Sonia Citron and USC forward Kiki Iriafen are the popular choices for the No. 3 and 4 picks with Citron expected to go No. 3 at -230 (FanDuel) and Iriafen to go fourth at +125 (FanDuel).

Both are great players, but Citron may be a bit more polished and ready to plug and play than Iriafen. Washington has both picks, so it doesn’t really matter who goes where since they’re ending up on the same team. But I’d go with the betting favorites for both.

Of course, if Malonga, for some crazy reason, does not go second, she’ll be taken either third (+600, FanDuel) or fourth (+4000, FanDuel). Three is probably as late as she goes.

WNBA Draft: No. 5 Pick

There really isn’t a consensus as to who the Golden State Valkyries will pick. I’ve seen mocks with LSU’s Aneesah Morrow (+200, FanDuel), TCU’s Hailey Van Lith (+2000, BetMGM), and Maryland’s Shyanne Sellers (+220, BetMGM) going at No. 5.

I would completely understand why Morrow or Sellers could go at No. 5, but I like Van Lith here for the Valkyries. After taking five teams to the Elite 8 and playing in the Olympics (3x3), she may be the most polished, ready-to-play prospect in the Draft.

Shyanne Sellers (+220, BetMGM) and Georgia Amoore (+800, BetMGM) have been in conversations to go fifth. If you don’t feel like rolling the dice here with Lith, I’d say go with Sellers.
