Despite his wobbly past against power punchers (which Sergei Pavlovich most definitely is), Curtis Blaydes will enter the octagon Saturday night as the -170 betting favorite.

Blaydes is currently riding a three-fight winning streak and was recently rumored to be a potential opponent for Jon Jones’ comeback fight.

Following a decision win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Blaydes went on to win back-to-back fights via TKO over Chris Daukaus and Tom Aspinall (the latter technically due to a Tom Aspinall knee injury just 15-seconds into the fight last July).

The heavy-handed Sergei Pavlovich has won his last five in a row - ALL BY FIRST-ROUND KNOCK OUT. He has back-to-back finishes over huge fan favorites Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis.

His most recent win over Tai Tuivasa last December earned him a performance of the night bonus.

Blaydes, the UFC’s number-four ranked heavyweight, will stand one-inch taller and have substantial NJCAA wrestling credentials on his side.

However, Pavlovich, the number-three ranked heavyweight, will have a four-inch reach advantage in which he will look to utilize in order to land that potential knockout blow.

Having only fought once in 2022 (a unanimous decision loss to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 276), this Saturday will mark Brad Tavares’ first octagon appearance since last July.

He takes on Bruno Silva - a fighter who has lost two straight but was riding a seven-fight winning streak beforehand. Silva most recently lost via third-round submission at the hands of Gerald Meerschaert last August.

Silva has a slight edge in height but both men will have an equal reach of 74 inches.

Despite his black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Bruno Silva is listed as a +135 underdog against Tavares.

Coming off the highest-profile fight of his career, Jared Gordon looks to bounce back from his unanimous decision loss to Paddy Pimblett last December - a fight that many feel that Gordon won.

He takes on fan-favorite Bobby Green, who has lost his last two in a row, but those losses aren’t without their asterisk. Green lost a last-minute catchweight bout against current lightweight champion Islam Makhachev last February and more recently lost to Drew Dober via second-round knockout in a bout that was awarded fight of the night honors last December.

Green will stand one inch taller and have a reach advantage of three inches. He is heavily favored at -250.

Having gone just 1-3 in her last four fights - including her most recent loss in her UFC debut at the hands of Juliana Miller last August - Brogan Walker-Sanchez is looking for a huge win this Saturday.

But Walker-Sanchez will have to get through Iasmin Lucindo, who is listed at -330 and is the biggest betting favorite on the main card.

However, after a seven-fight win streak outside of the promotion, Lucindo is also coming off of a UFC debut loss as she dropped a unanimous decision to Yazmin Jauregul last August.

Walker-Sanchez will have a one-inch advantage in both height and reach and will look to put her Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt to good use.

Currently riding a five-fight winning streak that includes three-straight wins in the UFC, Jeremiah Wells has yet to see a third-round under the UFC banner and is coming off of a first-round knockout win over Court McGee that earned him performance of the night last June.

Matthew Semelsberger has a UFC record of 5-2 and earned a unanimous decision over Jake Matthews in his most recent bout that took place last December.

This pick ‘em matchup sees both fighters listed at -110, but watch out for Semelsberger’s four-inch height and one-inch reach advantage this Saturday night as he attempts to show off his BJJ blue belt and purple belt in muay thai.
