Light heavyweight champion and number-three P4P ranked UFC fighter Alex Pereira aims to defend his title for the fourth time against who could be considered his biggest test to date: number-one ranked light heavyweight contender Magomed Ankalaev.
Ankalaev, a sambo specialist with only one professional loss on his record, is currently riding a two-fight winning streak. He fought twice in 2024, defeating Johnny Walker by KO and, most recently, defeating Aleksandar Rakic by decision last October.
Pereira, LHW champion since 2023, is coming off of a fourth-round TKO win over Khalil Rountree that took place at UFC 307 last October.
Many believe the younger Ankalaev will have a grappling advantage over Pereira, a former kickboxer. However, the champion does boast a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Ankalaev is the younger fighter but the champion will stand one-inch taller and have a four-inch reach advantage.
Pereira, at -120, is a slight betting favorite over the -106 Ankalaev.

36 | Age | 32 |
5 ft 11 in | Height | 5 ft 8 in |
70 in | Reach | 71 in |
25-5 | Record | 12-3 |
Despite holding a win over Rafael Fiziev and the fact that Fiziev missed all of 2024 with a knee injury (and is stepping in on short-notice to replace Dan Hooker), number-three ranked lightweight Justin Gaethje will enter this weekend’s co-main event as the +138 underdog.
Fiziev was on a six-fight winning streak before his loss to Gaethje in 2023. He next fought Mateusz Gamrot but lost via TKO after suffering a knee injury. He replaces Dan hooker, who suffered a hand injury in training and was forced to withdraw from this fight.
Gaethje, a division one NCAA wrestler, followed up his win over Fiziev with a win over Dustin Poirier. However, he was defeated by a last-second KO by Max Holloway in their UFC 300 bout last April.
Gaethje will stand three-inches taller but Fiziev will have a one-inch reach advantage.

---|---|---|
29 | Age | 27 |
6 ft 3 in | Height | 6 ft 1 in |
77 in | Reach | 75 in |
14-8 | Record | 16-5 |
Just 1-3 in his last four fights, Jalin Turner looks to bounce back from his recent TKO loss against Renato Moicano that took place last April at UFC 300.
He takes on Ignacio Bahamondes - a fighter who is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, having most recently defeated Manuel Torres by first-round TKO last September.
As it is in most of his UFC fights, Jailn Turner will be the taller fighter and will also have a two-inch reach advantage.
However, it is Bahamondes who is listed as the -130 favorite to win.

14-4-1 | Record | 17-5 |
After losing her UFC debut in 2022, Iasmin Lucindo has gone on to win her last four in a row - having most recently earned a split-decision loss over Marina Rodriguez at UFC 307 last October.
She will take on the number-five ranked strawweight and former title challenger Amanda Lemos, who is just 2-2 in her last four fights. Lemos rebounded from her title fight loss to Zhang Weili with a win over Mackenzie Dern but lost via submission to Virna Jandiroba in her most recent bout.
Lemos will be the taller fighter by one inch but Lucindo, the -136 favorite, will have the one-inch advantage in reach.

Kicking off the main card will be fan-favorite King Green (formerly Bobby Green).
Green is 2-2 over his last four fights and is coming off of a first-round submission loss to Paddy Pimblett that took place last July at UFC 304.
He takes on promotional newcomer Mauricio Ruffy, who will be making just his third octagon appearance this Saturday.
Ruffy won his UFC debut against Jamie Mullarkey via TKO and more recently earned a unanimous decision win over James Llontop last November at UFC 309.
Ruffy is ten-years younger than Green. He will also stand one-inch taller and have a four-inch reach advantage. At -520, this up-and-coming lightweight prospect is the favorite to win over King Green.
