Alexandre Pantoja | TALE OF THE TAPE | Kai Asakura |
---|---|---|
34 | Age | 31 |
5 ft 5 in | Height | 5 ft 8 in |
68 in | Reach | 69 in |
28-5 | Record | 21-4 |
In what is a very rare occurrence, Kai Asakura will fight for a UFC title in what will be his promotional debut.
He is a former Rizin champion that is 5-1 in his last six fights.
Current flyweight champion and number-11 ranked pound-for-pound mens’ UFC fighter Alexandre Pantoja has won his last six in a row. He won his title from Brandon Moreno in 2023 and has since defended it twice against Brandon Royval and, most recently, Steve Erceg.
Pantoja holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but will be at a disadvantage in both the height and reach department.
Despite those physical disadvantages, the more experienced UFC champion will enter the octagon in Saturday’s main event as the -265 favorite at FanDuel to defeat the UFC newcomer.

Shavkat Rakhmonov | TALE OF THE TAPE | Ian Garry |

30 | Age | 27 |
6 ft 1 in | Height | 6 ft 3 in |
77 in | Reach | 74 in |
18-0 | Record | 15-0 |
In another rare occurrence, two undefeated fighters have made their way to the welterweight division’s top-ten rankings and, barring a draw, one of them will suffer the first loss of their career this Saturday.
Originally slated to main event this card in a welterweight title fight against champion Belal Muhammad, Shavkat Rakhmonov found himself accepting a last-minute change of opponent when the champion had to withdraw due to an illness.
Rakhmonov most recently earned a second-round submission win over former title challenger Stephen Thompson to earn his title shot. It was his 18th-win in a row and his sixth UFC win.
Ian Garry, who holds a black belt in judo, most recently earned his 15th-win in a row when he defeated Michael Page via decision at UFC 303 back in June.
Rakhmonov holds the advantage in grappling while many would argue that Ian Garry will have the edge in striking. However, Garry will be at a three-inch disadvantage in reach.
Shavkat Rakhmonov, the number-three ranked welterweight in the UFC, is a -410 favorite at FanDuel.

Ciryl Gane | TALE OF THE TAPE | Alexander Volkov |
---|---|---|
34 | Age | 36 |
6 ft 5 in | Height | 6 ft 7 in |
81 in | Reach | 80 in |
12-2 | Record | 38-10 |
A former two-time heavyweight title challenger, France’s Ciryl Gane returns to action this weekend and hopes to build off of his second-round TKO win over Sergey Spivak. However, that win took place over one year ago and he is just 2-2 in his last four fights.
Alexander Volkov has remained more active than his opponent and is currently riding a four-fight winning streak. He most recently defeated Sergei Pavlovich by unanimous decision back in June.
Both fighters are known for their striking abilities. Volkov holds black belts in both tsu shin gen and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. However Gane will have the one-inch advantage in reach.
Despite his slight lack in activity, the former title challenger Gane will enter the octagon this Saturday as a slightly imbalanced -410 favorite at FanDuel.

Bryce Mitchell | TALE OF THE TAPE | Kron Gracie |
---|---|---|
30 | Age | 36 |
5 ft 9 in | Height | 5 ft 9 in |
70 in | Reach | 70 in |
16-2 | Record | 5-2 |
Speaking of less active fighters on the UFC roster, Kron Gracie makes his first UFC appearance this weekend since May 2023. He takes on number-13 ranked featherweight Bryce Mitchell.
Mitchell, a BJJ black belt, is 2-2 in his last four and is coming off an absolutely devastating first-round knockout loss at the hands of Josh Emmett that took place one year ago.
Gracie, a member of the famous Gracie family, has lost his last two fights in a row. In 2023 he lost a decision to Charles Jourdain. Prior to that loss, his last fight was a decision loss to Cub Swanson in 2019.
Unsurprisingly, at -800 at FanDuel, Bryce Mitchell will be the largest betting favorite on this main card.

Nate Landwehr | TALE OF THE TAPE | Choi Doo-Ho |
---|---|---|
36 | Age | 33 |
5 ft 9 in | Height | 5 ft 9 in |
72 in | Reach | 70 in |
18-5 | Record | 15-4-1 |
With a record of 4-1 in his last five fights, Nate Landwehr looks to win his second in a row when he kicks off the main card of UFC 310 against Choi Doo-Ho.
Landwehr is coming off of a first-round knockout win over Jamall Emmers that took place this past March - a win that earned him a performance of the night bonus.
Choi Doo-Ho has struggled as of late and holds a record of 1-3-1 over his last five fights. However, he is coming off of a second-round submission win over Bill Algeo that took place in July.
Both men will stand at an equal height, but the older Landwehr - a -142 favorite at FanDuel - will have a two-inch advantage in reach
