In a weight class with such a dominant champion in Alexandre Pantoja, who has been running through contenders, any win could have a member of the flyweight top-10 next in line for a title shot. 

The winner of this main event between Manel Kape and Asu Almabayev could very likely produce the champion’s next number-one contender.

Almabayev hasn’t lost a professional bout since 2017 and has won all four of his UFC fights to date. He most recently earned a unanimous decision victory over Matheus Nicolau last October. The win secured him his place as the number-eight ranked UFC flyweight.

Manel Kape is 5-1 in his last six fights and is coming off of a third-round TKO win over Bruno Gustavo da Silva that took place last December.

Kape, known for his muay thai, will have a three-inch reach advantage and stand two-inches taller than Almabayev. He is listed as the -235 favorite to win at FanDuel.

Cody Brundage vs. Julian Marquez - Middleweight Division

In the co-main event, two BJJ purple belt middleweights will do battle.

Brundage is looking to get back into the win column after his last fight against Abdul Razak Alhassan was deemed a no-contest due to an elbow to the back of the head that left Brundage unable to continue.

He takes on Julian Marquez, who has lost his last three fights in a row. He was most recently defeated by Zachary Reese via first-round TKO.

Despite being undefeated at 10-0, UFC newcomer Hyder Amil will be the +162 underdog at FanDuel in his matchup against William Gomis.

Amil has two fights under his belt in the UFC thus far, and most recently defeated Jeong Yeong Lee by first-round TKO last July.

William Gomis has won his last 12 fights in a row, including four in the UFC where he remains undefeated.

Gomis most recently defeated Joanderson Brito by split-decision last September. He will stand three-inches taller than Amil and have a three-inch advantage in reach as well.

He takes on Sam Patterson, who - after losing his UFC debut in 2023 - has gone on to win back-to-back fights over Yohan Lainesse and Kiefer Crosbie.
