So far undefeated (with one draw) under the UFC banner, number-ten ranked lightweight Grant Dawson looks to win his ninth promotional bout this weekend when he takes on fan-favorite Bobby Green.

Green, who has struggled as of late, having suffered back to back losses to Islam Makhachev and Drew Dober and fighting to a no-contest with Jared Gordon, found himself back in the win column with his UFC 291 submission win over lightweight legend Tony Ferguson back in July.

Grant Dawson’s most recent bout also took place in July, when he defeated Damir Ismagulov via unanimous decision. Prior to that, Dawson became the first man to defeat Mark Madsen in the sport of mixed martial arts, having submitted him in the third-round of their bout last November.

Dawson, a huge -410 betting favorite over Green, is the younger fighter by eight years and he will have a slight one-inch reach advantage this Saturday.

Joe Pyfer vs Abdul Razak Alhassan - Middleweight division

In what will be just his third UFC appearance, Joe Pyfer has already made quite a name for himself within the organization’s middleweight division.

After finishing Ozzy Diaz with a left hook in the second round of their Contender Series bout, Pyfer went on to win his UFC debut with a first-round KO of Alen Amedovski. He followed that performance up with another first-round stoppage - a TKO win over Gerald Meerschaert back in April.

Pyfer faces Ghana's Abdul Razak Alhassan, whose record over his last six fights stands at just 2-4.

Alhassan, a +320 underdog against Pyfer, is coming off of a second-round knockout win over Claudio Ribeiro in January.

Pyfer will stand four-inches taller and will enjoy a two-inch reach advantage as well.

Alex Morono vs Joaquin Buckley - Welterweight division

Despite standing three-inches taller and boasting a record of 5-1 over his last six fights, Alex Morono still finds himself listed as the +142 underdog in his matchup against Joaquin Buckley.

Buckley, who recently snapped a two-fight skid with his TKO win over Andre Fialho back in May, will have a three-inch reach advantage over Morono this Saturday.

Both are former LFA fighters and it was with this organization in which Alex Morono was the welterweight champion.

Drew Dober vs Ricky Glenn - Lightweight division

Up until his most recent fight, Drew Dober was riding high with a three-fight winning streak that included three finishes and a win over main event fighter Bobby Green.

But at UFC 288, Dober was finished in the first round via TKO at the hands of Matt Frevola.

Ricky Glenn also has experience against one of the main event fighters, as he fought Grant Dawson to a majority draw in 2021. His most recent bout came this past April, where he was knocked out in the first round by Christo Giagos. He is just 2-3-1 in his last six fights.

Although shorter by four-inches, Dober is the heavy betting favorite at -455.

Alexander Hernandez vs Bill Algeo - Featherweight division

With both fighters coming off of much-needed wins, Alexander Hernandez and Bill Algeo kick off the main card this Saturday, both with hopes of winning their second in a row.

Usually competing at lightweight, Hernandez moved down to the featherweight division last December. His 145-pound debut didn’t go as planned, as he lost to Billy Quarantillo via TKO. However, he moved back to 155-pounds and bounced back with a big unanimous decision win over UFC legend Jim Miller.

He returns to the featherweight division for this bout against Bill Algeo, who is coming off of a fight of the night performance, having defeated TJ Brown via submission in the second round of their bout this past April.

Algeo will stand three-inches taller and have a one-inch reach advantage. He is a former ROC featherweight champion and is more acclimated to cutting to the 154-pound mark. He is listed as the -130 favorite over Hernandez.
