In this weekend’s main event, former champion and number-one ranked welterweight Leon Edwards takes on the number-five ranked Sean Brady.
Edwards was originally scheduled to take on Jack Della Maddalena but the latter was given the opportunity to main event UFC 315 against Belal Muhammad for the welterweight championship.
Leon, the hometown favorite, has not fought since his UFC 304 title loss to Belal Muhammad that took place last July.
Brady, a BJJ black belt, has not lost since suffering his first career loss to Belal Muhammad in 2022. He has since won two in a row against Kelvin Gastelum and, most recently, former title challenger Gilbert Burns last September.
Brady is the shorter fighter in both height and reach but is considered to be the -166 favorite at FanDuel over the former champ.

Jan Blachowicz | TALE OF THE TAPE | Carlon Ulberg |
---|---|---|
42 | Age | 34 |

78 in | Reach | 77 in |
29-10-1 | Record | 11-1 |
Former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz has not fought since his 2023 split-decision loss to Alex Pereira. Prior to that loss, Blachowicz fought to a split-draw against now-current champion Magomed Ankalaev.
He is still ranked as the number-three LHW contender.
Blachowicz will take on number-six ranked Carlos Ulberg. Ulberg has won his last seven fights in a row and is coming off of a unanimous decision win over former title challenger Volkan Oezdemir that took place last November.
Ulberg will be the younger fighter by eight years and he will stand two-inches taller. However Blachowicz - the +230 underdog via FanDuel- will have a one-inch reach advantage.

72 in | Reach | 81 in |
19-5-1 | Record | 26-13, 1 no-contest |
Gunnar Nelson’s lack of activity in the UFC seems to positively affect the almost mythical aura of the Iceland native.
Holding a third-degree black belt in BJJ, Nelson has fought only twice in the past three years. However, he won both of those more recent bouts, earning a decision win over Takashi Sato and a first-round submission win over Bryan Barberena.
His UFC 286 win over Barberena earned a performance bonus. But that fight took place in 2023 and he hasn’t fought since.
He takes on a fellow BJJ black belt and one of the UFC’s most active fighters: Kevin Holland.
Holland fought three times in 2023, three times in 2024 and has already fought once in 2025. He is coming off of a submission loss that took place back in January.
Holland will stand four-inches taller than Nelson and have a nine-inch reach advantage. However, despite his inactivity, Nelson will enter the octagon this weekend as the -130 favorite at FanDuel.

Undefeated since 2020, Brazil’s Alexia Thainara will be making her UFCdebut after earning a unanimous decision win over Rose Conceicao on the Contender Series last September.
She takes on England’s Molly McCann, who has struggled as of late - holding a record of just 1-3 over her last four fights.
McCann most recently lost a decision to Bruna Brasil last July.
Thainara, a -200 favorite at FanDuel, is seven-years younger than her opponent and will have a five-inch reach advantage in this match-up.

The only English-born betting favorite on the main card, Jordan Vucenic is also the largest betting favorite at -410 at FanDuel.
However, after a four-fight winning streak for the Cage Warriors promotion, Vucenic lost his UFC debut last August to Guram Kutateladze by decision.
He takes on Christ Dunce, who is 5-1 over his last six fights. He most recently defeated Bolaji Oki by first-round submission last September.
Vucenic, a former Cage Warriors champion, will have a 1.5-inch reach advantage.

England’s Nathaniel Wood will kick off this weekend’s main card by taking on France’s Morgan Charriere.
Charriere will be making his fourth octagon appearance. He has a 2-1 promotional record and is coming off a second-round KO win over Gabriel Miranda that took place last September.
Wood, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, most recently defeated Daniel Pineda last July and is 4-1 over his last five fights.
Both men will have an equal reach. Charriere will be the taller fighter by two-inches and the betting favorite at -170 at FanDuel.
