Mackenzie Dern vs. Amanda Ribas - Strawweight Division

Equal age. Equal height. Almost identical records. Top-ten women’s strawweights Mackenzie Dern and Amanda Ribas will fight in the main event in what will be a rematch of their 2019 bout in which Ribas came out victorious.

Dern, the number-six ranked strawweight in the UFC, boasts some of the best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu credentials in the entire promotion - holding a third-degree black belt. She recently snapped a two-fight losing streak with her unanimous decision win over Loopy Godinez last August.

Amanda Ribas is 4-4 over her last eight octagon appearances. After a huge TKO win over Luana Pinheiro in the strawweight division, Ribas moved up to flyweight to face former champ Rose Namajunas. She was defeated via unanimous decision.

Dern will have the grappling advantage but Ribas will look to utilize her three-inch reach advantage on the feet. 

Already holding a win over Dern, Ribas is listed as the -225 at FanDuel to repeat her 2019 performance.

Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Carlston Harris - Welterweight Division

A former top-ten welterweight, Santiago Ponzinibbio suffered from health issues for several years, missing two-years of competition between 2018-2020. The BJJ black belt returned in 2021 but has since gone just 2-5.

He takes on Carlston Harris, a fighter who is 7-3 in his last ten. He is, however, coming off of a first-round knockout loss at the hands of Khaos Williams that took place last May.

Both men stand at equal height and are about the same age. Ponzinibbio holds the grappling pedigree but Harris has had more success as of late and will also have a three-inch advantage in reach.

Oddsmakers have this one as a pick ‘em - with Ponzinibbio listed at -111 compared to Harris’ -115.

Cesar Almeida vs. Abdul Razak Alhassan - Middleweight Division

Muay Thai striking versus Judo grappling - former kickboxer Cesar Almeida takes on judo black belt  Abdul Razak Alhassan in this middleweight clash.

Almeida only has seven MMA bouts on his record, but he has gone 6-1 thus far and has two wins in the UFC. He is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Ihor Potieria that took place at UFC 307 last October.

Alhassan has struggled as of late and had his most recent bout against Cody Brundage end up as a no-contest due to illegal elbows. He had gone just 5-2 in his last seven fights prior.

Cesar Almeida, listed as a -290 favorite at FanDuel, will be the younger fighter who will have a two-inch height advantage and one-inch advantage in reach.

Chris Curtis vs. Roman Kopylov - Middleweight Division

After starting his UFC journey with three straight wins, Chris Curtis has struggled as of late, holding a record of 2-3 with one no-contest over his last six fights.

He takes on Roman Kopylov - a Russian-born fighter who has gone 5-1 over his last six fights. He most recently bounced back from loss with his split-decision win over Cesar Almeida at UFC 302.

Although Kopylov will stand two-inches taller than Curtis, both men will share a 75-inch reach. However it will be the younger Kopylov who comes in listed as a -280 favorite at FanDuel to win.

Christian Rodriguez vs. Austin Bashi - Featherweight Division

After losing his UFC debut in 2022, Christian Rodriguez rebounded by winning four-straight. However, he came up short in his most recent bout, which he lost via submission to Julian Erosa in the first round last July.

Rodriguez is taking on the undefeated Austin Bashi, who will be making his UFC debut after earning a second-round submission win on the Contender Series last September.

Rodriguez will have a one-inch advantage in both height and reach over his opponent. However it is the undefeated Bashi who is tied with Cesar Almeida as the highest betting favorite on the main card at -290 via FanDuel.

Soriano Punahele vs. Uros Medic - Welterweight Division

Kicking off the main card will be the welterweights Soriano Punahele and Uros Medic - two fighters looking to secure their second win in a row.

After suffering back-to-back losses in 2023, Punahele bounced back in his only fight of 2024 - earning a unanimous decision win over Miguel Baeza last June.

Uros Medic also fought only once in 2024. He fought and defeated Tim Means via first-round TKO last April in what was deemed the performance of the night.

At -210 via FanDuel, Uros Medic comes in as the favorite in this main card kickoff fight.
