Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, NCAA division one wrestler and three-time UFC welterweight title challenger Colby Covington looks to defend his status as the number-six ranked welterweight this weekend when he takes on the number-nine ranked Joaquin Buckley in the main event.

Covington is one of the most inactive fighters in the welterweight division, having only fought once per year since 2020. However, despite being 3-3 in his last six fights, those three losses were all against champions.

Joaquin Buckley has climbed the ranks incredibly fast recently. He is currently on a five-fight winning streak that has seen him defeat the likes of Alex Morono, Vicente Luque and, most recently, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.

Buckley is six-years younger than Convington and will enjoy a four-inch advantage in reach. Covington will stand three-inches taller and likely has the advantage in cardio and stamina.

Somewhat surprisingly, Covington will enter this main event as a notable +230 underdog at FanDuel.

The co-main event between Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts and fan favorite strikers Cub Swanson and Billy Quarantillo has all the ingredients for a fight of the night.

In what will be his 25th UFC bout, Cub Swanson hopes to get back into the win column after losing a split-decision to Andre Fili in June. He is 3-3 in his last six fights.

Billy Quarantillo is also 3-3 in his last six appearances and is coming off of a submission loss against Youssef Zalal that took place this past March.

Five-years younger than Swanson, Quarantillo is listed as the -172 favorite to win at FanDuel.

Number-nine ranked flyweight Manel Kape will take on the number-12 ranked Bruno Gustavo da Silva in the flyweight division. This is likely to be a striker vs grappler matchup, with Kape looking to utilize his muay thai training in Thailand and da Silva looking to show off his BJJ black belt.

Kape recently had a four-fight winning streak snapped when he lost via unanimous decision to Muhammad Mokaev back in July.

Bruno Gustavo da Silva has won his last four straight and is coming off of a second-round TKO win over Cody Durden. He has earned a performance bonus in all four fights of his winning streak.

Despite those stats, it is Kape who is favored to win. He is listed at -390 at FanDuel.

Undefeated through his first 11 professional fights - a streak that included four wins in the UFC - Vitor Petrino came up short in his last octagon appearance. He suffered a first-round submission loss at the hands of Anthony Smith.

He looks to get back into the win column this weekend, hoping to earn a win over Dustin Jacoby, who is just 1-4 over his last five fights.

Jacoby has lost back-to-back fights - most recently getting knocked out by former title challenger Dominick Reyes back in June.

Unsurprisingly, Petrino is listed as the -330 favorite via FanDuel over Jacoby.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Adrian Yanez looks to become the first fighter to best the undefeated Daniel Marcos this weekend.

Yanez recently snapped a two-fight losing skid when he defeated Vinicius Salvador by first-round TKO back in May.

Daniel Marcos already has three UFC wins under his belt. He most recently defeated John Castaneda by unanimous decision this past June.

These men stand at equal height and are the same age. Yanez will have a one-inch reach advantage but will still enter this contest as a +158 underdog via FanDuel.

Coming off of a win in the Contender Series, New Zealand’s undefeated Navajo Stirling will make his debut this Saturday against a fighter who recently lost his UFC debut: Tuco Tokkos.

Tokkos made his UFC debut back in May. He took on Oumar Sy, who defeated Tokkos via first-round submission

Navajo Stirling won his September fight on the Contender Series by second-round knockout. He will have a 6.5-inch reach advantage in this matchup and is the main card’s largest betting favorite at -770 via FanDuel.
