Cannonier vs. Imavov

Jared Cannonier TALE OF THE TAPE Nassourdine Imavov
40 Age 29
6 ft Height 6 ft 3 in
77.5 in Reach 75 in
17-6 Record 13-4, 1 no-contest

Still a top-five middleweight at the age of 40, former title challenger Jared Cannonier will main event against rising contender, number-seven ranked Nassourdine Imavov this Saturday.

However, Cannonier has not stepped foot in the UFC octagon since his unanimous decision win over Marvin Vettori last June. It was his second win in a row and he is 4-1 over his last five fights.

France’s Nassourdine Imavov has had mixed success in his last three fights - having one win, one loss and one no-contest. He will enter this weekend’s main event coming off of a majority decision win over Roman Dolidze that occurred back in February.

Imavov is the younger, taller fighter but Cannonier - a former heavyweight with big noticeable punching power - will have a notable 2.5-inch reach advantage.

With that said, the former middleweight title contender Cannonier still comes in as the slight +102 underdog.

Dominick Reyes vs. Dustin Jacoby - Light heavyweight Division

Dominick Reyes TALE OF THE TAPE Dustin Jacoby
34 Age 36
6 ft 4 in Height 6 ft 4 in
77 in Reach 78 in
12-4 Record 19-8-1

Another former title challenger fighting on this card is light heavyweight Dominick Reyes. The number-15 ranked LHW was undefeated before losing his title fight to Jon Jones and has seemed to struggle to get back into contention over recent years.

Battling through injuries as well, Reyes has now lost his last four in a row and, other than his decision loss to Jones, all of his losses have come via knockout or TKO. His most recent bout was back in 2022 where he lost to Ryan Spann in the first round.

His opponent, Dustin Jacoby, is also looking to bounce back from his recent performances; having gone 1-3 in his last four.

These men stand at equal height, but with a one-inch reach advantage and more activity in 2023, Jacoby is listed as the -230 favorite.

Raul Rosas Jr vs. Ricky Turcios - Bantamweight Division

Raul Rosas Jr TALE OF THE TAPE Ricky Turcios
19 Age 31
5 ft 9 in Height 5 ft 9 in
67 in Reach 71 in
8-1 Record 12-3

At only 19-years-old, Raul rosas Jr will be participating in his fourth UFC bout this weekend, where he’ll take on TUF tournament winner Ricky Turcios.

After suffering his first professional MMA loss, Rosas bounced back recently with a first-round TKO over Terrence Mitchell last September.

After winning The Ultimate Fighter show, Ricky Turcios lost his first official UFC bout but also recently bounced back when he defeated Kevin Natividad by split-decision. However, he has not fought since 2022.

Both men stand at equal height but despite Turcios’ four-inch reach advantage and TUF title, he is listed as the +190 underdog.

Brunno Ferreira vs. Dustin Stoltzfus - Middleweight Division

Brunno Ferreira TALE OF THE TAPE Dustin Stoltzfus
31 Age 32
5 ft 10 in Height 5 ft 11 in
72 in Reach 75 in
11-1 Record 15-5

A black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Dustin Stoltzfus is still just 2-3 in his last five fights. However, he is coming off of an impressive submission win over Punahele Soriano that took place last December.

He takes on Brunno Ferreira, who is 2-1 in the UFc and is coming off of a spectacular first-round TKO win over Phil Dawes that occurred back in January.

Stoltzfus will have an edge in UFC experience as well as reach, but Brunno “The Hulk” Ferreira’s hunger to win has him listed as a -265 favorite.

Julian Marquez vs. Zachary Reese - Middleweight Division

Julian Marquez TALE OF THE TAPE Zachary Reese
34 Age 30
6 ft 2 in Height 6 ft 4 in
72 in Reach 77 in
9-4 Record 6-1

Promotional newcomer Zachary Reese was undefeated prior to his UFC debut, which he lost via TKO last December. He is hunting for his first UFC win this Saturday.

He takes on Julian Marquez, who is 2-2 in his last four fights but currently on a two-fight losing skid. He most recently lost via TKO at the hands of Marc-Andre Barriault at UFC 285.

Despite being the shorter fighter and having a five-inch disadvantage in reach, Marquez still comes in as the -135 favorite over Reese.

Miguel Baeza vs. Punahele Soriano - Welterweight Division

Miguel Baeza TALE OF THE TAPE Punahele Soriano
31 Age 31
6 ft 2 in Height 6 ft
74 in Reach 72 in
10-3 Record 9-4

Kicking off the main card this Saturday are two men in need of a big win.

Miguel Baeza, a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has lost his last three fights in a row - most recently suffering a TKO loss at the hands of Andre Fialho in 2022. He has been inactive since.

Punahele Soriano has lost his last two in a row and is 1-4 in his last five fights. He was most recently submitted by Dustin Stoltzfus last December.

Baeza has the grappling advantage and will have a two-inch advantage in both reach and height. He is favored at -192.
