Daily Missions 

FunzCity is in the process of rolling out daily missions. The only one available during my review  required me to play 10 slots with CC in exchange for 100 City Coins.

It’s a fun and simple concept, but the daily missions aren’t entirely developed yet in my opinion. I’d like to see more Missions added and some more imaginative tasks.

At the time of my FunzCity review, daily prize amounts were listed as follows:

FunzCity will give you 500,000 FC and 2,000 CC for each person you invite to the casino. After they purchase a Fun Coins (FC) package worth at least $19.99, you get 500,000 FC and 2,000 CC. Your friend will receive 400,000 FC and 500 CC in addition to their recently purchased FC. 

There’s no stated limit on the number of friends you can refer. To begin, open the menu sidebar and click “Invite Friends.” You can copy your invite link or share it with friends on Facebook and Whatsapp by clicking the corresponding button. Alternatively, have your friend scan a QR code.

I sent my invite link to a friend who didn’t mind spending money for the sake of my FunzCity Review. After he signed up and made a new account, he bought 200,000 FC and claimed 2,000 free CC for $19.99. His FC purchase unlocked my bonus, giving me an extra 500,000 FC and 2,000 CC. 

He received a bonus of 400,000 FC and 500 CC to complement his purchase, giving him a total of 600,000 FC and 2,500 CC to get the ball rolling. FunzCity’s referral bonus is in alignment with industry standards. 

FunzCity User Experience 

FunzCity is one of the newer social casinos to grace the screens of players across the country. Their recently developed user interface promises vibrant graphics, smooth navigation, realistic games, and immediate loading speeds across the board.

Although there’s no downloadable application for iOS and Android, FunzCity’s website doubles as an “instant-play” app. No matter which device you’re using to spin through slots, FunzCity is up to the task at hand. Their games are sized appropriately for computers and one-handed use. 

Desktop

I’m a personal fan of the rectangular icons with rounded corners, bold colors, and intuitive features that give FunzCity a futuristic look and feel. I began testing FunzCity on my laptop, and I was directed to their login screen after creating a new account. 

I like how their dashboard organizes game recommendations, shows your VIP status, lets you open Mystery Boxes, and features their first purchase bonuses front-and-center. At the top-left corner of your screen, you can open the menu or click their brand logo to get back to the lobby. 

Your coins balance is conveniently located next to a neon-green “Buy” button, and you’re able to read your notifications by clicking the little bell next to it. Click the profile icon to pull up your info,  account settings, and other personal details such as your email address and cell phone number. 

You can see your recent gameplay history on the homepage underneath the “Your Last Games” header. I found this feature useful when I wanted to go back and reference the name of several slots. It’s possible to favorite certain titles by hovering over the game icon and clicking the heart. 

When you click a game icon, you’re shown the minimum and maximum play level limits for both FC and CC. I liked being able to see other suggested titles based on the themes I enjoyed most. 

For example, launching Wild Buffalo: Fortune Wheel Bonus Buy brings up recommendations for Red Hot Chili 7’s, Hot Cash: Hold & Link, and Bonanza Billion. Underneath your recently played games, you’ll see a link to their whole selection followed by a grid filled with their latest releases. 

FunzCity shouts out their luckiest winners further down the page with a kind of leaderboard, and their maximum jackpot prizes are listed beneath three running columns. They post a banner showing their current promotions and purchase discounts above two links to their chat and email support.

The site footer contains a brief summary of their brand, lists the rules of gameplay, and compiles important documents in one place. There’s a lot to absorb at first glance, but they do a great job of maximizing screen space while keeping their user interface from becoming too overwhelming.

FunzCity Mobile Experience 

FunzCity is just as fun and easy to use on mobile. 

I wasn’t able to locate a FunzCity mobile app on Google Play or the App Store, so I visited their website using Google Chrome on my iPhone 13.

I didn’t have any trouble making a transition to my smartphone because of how similar the website appears on both larger and smaller screens. 

There aren’t many changes to report, and that’s a good thing because it eliminates all space for confusion. Notably, their main menu button has moved from the top-left to the bottom-left corner of the site. I found their bottom row of icons useful as I viewed games and promos with one tap. 

While this is more of a convenience feature than anything else, it makes their website feel more like a proper app. Even if it’s not entirely necessary, it allows you to access important categories without requiring you to go through the site’s main menu or scroll to a certain part of the website. 

It’s easy to buy Fun Coins, opt into bonuses, redeem CC prizes, open Mystery Boxes, complete daily missions, and view your VIP status at a glance. FunzCity is a capable mobile casino at the end of the day. If you don’t mind their lack of tables, they’re a great option for players on-the-go.

I really enjoyed exploring the slots on offer. In total, I played 20 games which all featured a combination of bright, attractive graphics and smooth gameplay. The Mighty Toro was a personal highlight: I loved the effect of the clouds of sand rising whenever the bull stamps in the background of the reels.

Their slots are sorted by recency, popularity, and jackpot potential with a separate category to accommodate your Favorited titles. You can “favorite” games by hovering your icon over the title and clicking the heart that appears. 

It’s not possible to sort through games by theme, but there’s plenty of variety to look forward to. 

Ancient Egyptian reels, cutesy games with cartoonish characters, traditional Asian casino slots, Buffalo-inspired slots, and mythology-themed machines are just a snapshot of what’s available. 

Table Games 

FunzCity doesn’t have any virtual table games, making it impossible for me to recommend their collection to seasoned players. In place of casino staples like blackjack and video poker, I found seven “fishing” titles that put you in the driver’s seat with fast-paced action and realistic controls. 

It’s not a great substitute for roulette and baccarat, but it’s nice to break up the repetitiveness of spinning through slots. NetGame’s “Thunder Fishing” puts a mythological spin on the necessity of hunting and gathering with cameo appearances from the rare guardian fish and Thor himself. 

Live Dealer

They don’t take as many payment methods as competing sites. You’re limited to using VISA/Discover/MasterCard if you want to purchase Fun Coins. Redemptions are issued through gift card and bank transfer. I’d love to see some e-wallet options added, like Skrill.

It couldn’t be much easier to make purchases and submit redemption requests.

I bought 320,000 FC and claimed 2,240 free CC for $15.99. I received my purchased coins right away. They require players to win 2,500 CC to qualify for a virtual gift card, but this figure climbs to 10,000 CC for a cash prize. Keep in mind that 100 City Coins has the same value as $1 USD. 

I received my $100 bank transfer prize 24 hours after submitting a request. I came back later on during the week to request a virtual gift card after meeting their 2,500 CC redemption minimum. They sent a code for a gift card with $25 in cash value to my email address two hours later.

FunzCity features 24/7 chat and email support, putting them above many social casinos when it comes to accommodating night owls. I’d like to see them add phone support, but their available contact methods are more than sufficient.

I accessed their live chat by scrolling to the bottom of the page and clicking “Online Support.” If you want to speak with a real person, select “Live Agent” from the list of topics you’re shown. It took 30 seconds before I was connected with an agent called Miles, who delivered quick and helpful responses.

What’s the Difference Between FunzCity and a Real Money Casino? 

FunzCity is a social or sweepstakes casino. That means they don’t accept real money for wagering purposes. Instead, you’ll use Fun Coins (FC) and City Coins (CC) to play casino-style games. This allows FunzCity to freely operate in states that prohibit real money online casinos.
