It’s episode 130 of Wise Kracks and we’re down to eight teams left in the NFL playoffs! We take a look at the weekend schedule, pick our sides and discuss the value of underdogs on the moneyline! We also take a look at the week that was in the NFL: will Tom Brady retire, what happened to Brett Maher with those extra points, and what did we learn that will help us win moving forward?

Your hosts Bill Krackomberger and Jon Orlando can’t wait for the NFL playoffs to kick back off this weekend! Who do the guys see making it through to Championship weekend?

The guys lay out the case for some of the underdogs this weekend and leave it up to you as to which angle you believe in most.

Both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars are peaking at the right time …. So where will the line move and will it touch another key number before kickoff?

The Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills play in what figures to be the most emotional game of the NFL season, but neither team is coming off of an impressive win in the Wild Card round.

How hard is it to beat a team three times in one season? The Philadelphia Eagles look to complete the trifecta Saturday night against a New York Giants team that is getting high-end play from Daniel Jones.

The Divisional Round wraps up with an old-school classic with the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers: can Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy get the Niners to the NFC Championship game? Or is the clock about up on the rookie?

Recapping the Wild Card Weekend

“I’ve been tough on him his entire career. He showed me a little something here.”

Bill is impressed by the composure shown by Trevor Lawrence in the comeback win. It was a brutal start, but the kid kept firing, stayed confident, and advanced his team to the next round.

“I’m a Giants hater and they looked fantastic.”

Jon can’t help but be intrigued by what he saw from the Giants in their impressive win over the Minnesota Vikings.

“They’ve proved they are human multiple times this season.”

Bill admits that Buffalo has been able to win games, but they have underwhelmed in the process and could be vulnerable sooner than later.

“They looked confident… they looked like they were having fun for the first time in a while.”

Jon’s Cowboys blew out the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and, in contrast to the Bills, they looked the part. He is a bit worried about the yips for Brett Maher and what it could mean in a tough matchup this weekend, but he does like the trending play of Dallas as a whole, “Do you believe in signs, Bill?”

“Jerry should step back and let the professionals take over,” … Bill’s concern about America’s team isn’t on the field.

Play The Futures Market or Take It Week-By-Week?

“I wouldn’t bet anything right now.”

The Krackman has some strong thoughts for both this weekend and the final month of the NFL season! He’s not touching any Super Bowl future odds right now, but there are edges to be had elsewhere, including a sprinkling on the moneyline for one of the underdogs this weekend.

“That teaser just looks too easy. This is from a sharp bettor… he wins long-term, and it just looks too easy.”

UFC 283: Teixeira vs. Hill

“Neil Magny is a dangerous man. He’s never out of a fight.”

Jon isn’t shying away from the big ‘dog in this matchup and he has a strong lean on the featured Glover Teixeira vs Jamahal Hill Main Event, “I’m not calling it a lock, but I do like it.” Bill preaches patience in the betting market as a whole, seeking edges instead of swinging for the fences on parlays, “I’m a Lion looking for the weak gazelle.”
