Take a look at my favorite sportsbooks for bank transfer bettors. These betting platforms are the best in the industry, and I’ve ranked them based on my experience using bank transfers for deposits and withdrawals.
Best for: Bank Transfer Payments
FanDuel is the top-earning sportsbook in the US market, thanks to its user-centric focus. If America’s favorite sportsbook is what you’re searching for, FanDuel is leading the way.
When I chose online bank transfer for my deposits, I had to make a minimum of at least $10, and my funds were immediately available. Withdrawals are processed back to the same method as deposits, so my winnings were transferred to my bank account, which took 2 days.
New bettors can claim a welcome bonus of $150 in bonus bets. I had to deposit $10 and place a winning bet of $5. It’s a bit of a letdown that the bonus is only awarded if your initial bet is successful, but I think the risk is minimal since it’s only a $5 bet. I’d recommend it, particularly to beginners, for this reason. I also enjoyed how I could spread the bonus in whatever way I liked over different wagers. FanDuel will give you the bonus within 72 hours if your bet does end up winning.
Whenever I’m on the move, I continually come back to FanDuel for mobile betting. The app is designed for user convenience, allowing me to effortlessly place bets, follow live scores, and manage my account from anywhere and at any time.

Caesars is a respected name in the entertainment and hospitality industry, offering a premium online sportsbook. If you want a betting experience enhanced by in-person rewards, check out Caesars Sportsbook.
I could deposit using my bank account through Trustly or VIP Preferred, both of which are available for withdrawals. With both methods, my payouts arrived in 3 days and were straightforward to connect to my bank account. However, processing times can vary depending on your bank, so it may take longer.
If you’re worried about losing your first bet, Caesars eases some of your concerns with a Second Chance welcome bonus. Caesars Sportsbook will refund up to $1,000 if your bet loses. All you have to do is deposit $10 and place a qualifying bet of any chosen amount; remember to use the code ‘WSN1000’. I always feel less stressed with welcome bonuses like this, especially if I've got a bigger bet than normal in mind when I sign up. Unfortunately, you can’t divide up the bonus so the bet has to be placed all at once. It will be credited to your account in 48 hours, and you must use it within 14 days.
My highlight of Caesars Sportsbook is the incorporation of Caesars Rewards. All activity with the Caesars brand, including betting, dining, shopping, or staying at their hotels, accumulates credits. When you sign up for the sportsbook, you’ll also get 1,000 credits. You can exchange these credits for amazing rewards like discounts on hotel stays, room upgrades, tickets to shows, gift cards for shopping, or vouchers for dining.

BetMGM is operated by the well-known MGM Resorts, which delivers an experienced and trustworthy online sportsbook. If you want a reputable platform with plenty of promotions, explore BetMGM.
Bettors can directly deposit from your bank account by opting for PayWithMyBank as your payment method. All I had to do was log into my only bank account on the BetMGM site. There is a choice between VIP Preferred, online banking, and instant banking for bank transfer withdrawals. I opted for online banking, with my withdrawals taking 3 days to arrive, but there were a few that took 4 days. I’d recommend cashing out during the week rather than the weekend for the fastest withdrawals.
I was really impressed with BetMGM’s welcome bonus, which is the most generous I’ve seen lately. New users get a second chance on their first bet up to $1,500 by using the promo code ‘WSNMGM’. To qualify, you have to deposit and bet at least $10. If that bet doesn’t win, you’ll get your wager back in bonus bets. If the amount is over $50, it will be split into five parts; if not, you’ll receive it as a single bet.
BetMGM is brimming with many other exciting offers, like odds boosts, prizes, competitions, referral bonuses, and more. The promotions page always has something new tailored to different seasons, sports, or major events. Additionally, I think that the BetMGM Rewards scheme is a close second to Caesars, also using the overarching brand.

Best for: Easy-to-use Platform
BetRivers provides a user-friendly and intuitive betting experience, perfect for newcomers to betting. If you’re a beginner just starting, try out BetRivers.
It was simple for me to deposit from my online bank account through Trustly by entering my bank login, and my deposit arrived instantly in my account. While BetRivers approved my withdrawals quite quickly, in 24 hours, it took around 4 days each time for them to be available in my bank account.
BetRivers is the first sportsbook to come to mind whenever I'm asked for a recommendation for beginners. They’ve simplified the experience with an intuitive and easy-to-use interface. Once you’ve registered, you’ll get a backup on your first wager. If your first bet doesn’t win, you’ll get bonus bets matching your stake up to $500. It’s a bit lower than competitors, but it is still great for those who are a little unsure about their initial wager. To be eligible for this offer, you must place a minimum bet of $10, which can be made on any market.

Best for: ESPN Content
In November 2023, ESPN entered the betting market in collaboration with PENN Entertainment, rebranding Barstool Sportsbook to become ESPN Bet. If you want the freshest sportsbook on the market, take a look at ESPN Bet.
I could deposit and withdraw from my bank account at ESPN Bet using Trustly. All I had to do was sign into my bank on the platform. My bank offers RTPs, so after ESPN Bet approved my withdrawal, it took only a few minutes for it to be in my account. Overall, the process took just under a day. If your bank doesn’t have RTPs, the payout can be transferred through the ACH Network and take 2-3 days. I was impressed that there’s a maximum withdrawal of up to $100,000, and this payment method is available in all states.
ESPN Bet was previously known as Barstool Sportsbook, so it might be familiar to many bettors. The experience has now leveled up by leveraging ESPN Bet’s expertise in the sports industry to provide exclusive content and analysis. Bettors can also access special rewards and promotions through the Penn Play Rewards scheme.
It can be discouraging to lose your first bet, but this isn’t a problem at ESPN Bet. After I registered, I could make a risk-free first bet. If your initial bet is lost, you’ll receive the value of your stake, up to $1,000, returned as bonus bets. The bonus is divided into $25 increments, giving you the freedom to explore different betting markets.

DraftKings is a powerhouse that excels in all areas, including unique features, bonuses, markets, and payments.
Using online banking to deposit was a breeze, with a minimum amount being only $5, and I could start betting immediately.
I could cash out my winnings to my bank through online banking, VIP Preferred, and Trustly. I chose Trustly because it has the quickest withdrawal time out of the three. Impressively, it took under 24 hours for it to be paid out to me. In comparison, withdrawals for online banking can take 4 to 5 days, depending on your bank, and VIP Preferred takes 3 days. These methods are perfect for high-stakes bettors, as they have a maximum withdrawal amount of a huge $100,000.
I always enjoy betting on DraftKings cutting-edge and innovative mobile app. The sleek design is appealing while still being organized, which is impressive considering all the features available. It's definitely one of the best sports betting mobile apps out there.
DraftKings promotions are also excellent, with more daily odds boosts than any other competitor.

Bank transfer involves electronically moving funds from your bank account to make payments or receive funds. Online banking is the most common method, where you must enter your banking login details for payments. VIP Preferred is another bank transfer method that uses your routing and account number through the ACH system instead of your bank’s username and password. ACH transfers work by being processed in batches, which can take longer to complete. Trustly is another popular bank transfer option, offering RTP transactions that can move funds into a bank account within minutes.
Check out our recommended Trustly betting sites.
Bank transfer is the most secure and reliable method for depositing and withdrawing funds from an online sportsbook since banks have advanced encryption and high-level security protocols in place. There’s no requirement to share sensitive financial information with third parties, like other payment methods. You can also benefit from direct transactions with no intermediary in the way.
It is a particularly suitable method for high-stakes bettors, as bank transfer tend to have the highest maximum limits for deposits and withdrawals. As such, it can be easier for this kind of bettor to move money around. You’ll also find fewer restrictions from the bank itself.
Almost all sportsbooks will accept bank transfers as a method for deposits and withdrawals. You can rely on the fact that it is a consistently available option. Although it can be slower than other payment methods for withdrawals, there are options like Trustly, that offer faster payouts.
Using bank transfers for transactions with online sportsbooks is pretty straightforward. I’ve carefully outlined the steps for you to follow, including my experience recently testing out this method at BetMGM.
Here’s my guide:
Choose a sportsbook: When choosing an online sportsbook, I look for one that meets my needs. Finding detailed and personal reviews can be hard. That's where WSN comes in. We make it easy by providing in-depth reviews of sportsbooks, covering payment methods, bonuses, promotions, and more. This helps you decide if it's the right fit for you.
Log in or sign up for an account: Next, log into your account or create a new one. You'll need to provide your name, date of birth, email, and sometimes phone number. Many sportsbooks also require ID verification with your SSN, driver's license, or proof of address. Completing this now makes future withdrawals easier. The sign-up process usually takes only a few minutes.
I already have a BetMGM account, so I just signed in. Next, I clicked on the Deposit button from the menu.
Deposit funds with bank transfer: I found that depositing with a bank transfer was as easy as could be. BetMGM allows multiple types of bank transfer payments, and each one works perfectly.
For this example, I went with online banking.
I chose $10 to test out the transfer and then clicked the button to link my bank. I was able to choose my bank from a list of all major US banks; if your bank isn’t on this list, you can manually enter your account and routing numbers.
After this, a payment gateway would pop up so I could use my login and password for my bank. This information is encrypted so you don't have anything to worry about.
The next step opened up my online banking, where I signed in as normal using my details (no screenshots for you guys for that step, I’m afraid). Once I approved the connection, I simply confirmed the $10 transfer, and it hit my BetMGM account immediately. Simple.
Withdraw your winnings using bank transfer: Withdrawing from your bank account is similar to depositing. Go to the payment section and choose a bank transfer option like 'Online Banking', 'VIP Preferred', or 'Trustly'. I prefer Trustly for its RTP system. Enter the amount you want to withdraw. The process might be automatic or you may need to log into your bank again. Withdrawals can take from 24 hours to a few days to appear in your bank account, depending on the sportsbook's processing time.
Of course! If bank transfer or online banking is listed as an accepted deposit method at an online sportsbook, you can use it to qualify for bonuses. The only possibility that it is not allowed is if it is specifically excluded, so you should always read the terms and conditions to confirm eligibility. However, it’s rare for US sportsbooks not to accept bank transfers for promotions, as it is a popular payment method.
