Below, you can see my favorite US sportsbooks that accept Apple Pay, all based on my personal experience using these sites. To create this list, I considered factors such as market variety, customer support options, promotions, user-friendliness, and transaction speeds.
Best For: Mobile App
It was a close call, but I’ve chosen FanDuel as my number one Apple Pay sportsbook because they check all the boxes for casual and seasoned sports bettors alike.
FanDuel’s mobile app is top tier and it’s my go-to for betting using my phone. The mobile platform is extremely well organized, and browsing through sports and placing bets is a simple as a couple of swipes and taps. I’ve never experienced any digital dead ends or software glitches and all the features of the desktop site are available on mobile. The general public obviously agree with me too: it’s the highest rated sportsbook on the Apple App Store, with a score of 4.9 out of almost 1.5 million reviews.
I had to download a separate app in order to access FanDuel daily fantasy sport contests, but in my opinion, that gives the platform more room to create a realistic experience.
The banking process is another real highlight at FanDuel. You can use Apple Pay for both deposits and withdrawals, with no fees charged by the sportsbook for any of the payment methods. It’s worth noting that Apple Pay isn’t available for withdrawals in every state and since I am in New York, I had to settle for a PayPal transfer instead.

✅Top class mobile app

Best For: Loyalty Program
There are few sportsbook icons more recognizable than the roaring lion trademarking BetMGM. I have visited the MGM Grand several times and my favorite thing about the BetMGM sportsbook is the fact that I can wind up getting IRL rewards from placing online bets.
Any time you bet real money online or spend money at an in-person MGM resort, you earn Reward Points which can be cashed in for all kinds of benefits, both online and offline. Your points also determine your position in the MGM Rewards tier, with five categories to climb through: Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum and Noir. Each tier unlocks new benefits and bonuses.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of famous brands willing to accept my BetMGM Reward Points provided I got enough of them. For instance, Gold Members can claim benefits at participating Marriott Bonvoy destinations. Even at the lowest rung on the ladder, Sapphire members are guaranteed the lowest hotel room rates on top of discounts to select shows.
Moving on up the chain, you can become a Pearl member upon getting 20k MGM Points. A Gold Membership starts when you get 75k points, and a Platinum begins at 200k points. The fifth and final exclusive NOIR tier is by invite-only. Guaranteed 24-hour restaurant reservations, quarterly cruise offers, priority hotel check-ins, and up to 30% off Avis car rentals are just some of the perks I noticed on BetMGM’s Rewards page.
Best of all, You don’t have to book a flight to Las Vegas to cash in my MGM Rewards Points. They also work at MGM locations in Michigan, Springfield, Atlantic City, Northfield Park, Beau Rivage, and even my local Empire City Casino in Yonkers, NY.
Getting down to the actual mobile experience, I was disappointed to notice that I couldn’t claim BetMGM’s 100% first bet insurance up to $1,500 in New York. Instead, my available promos were limited to parlay boosts and odds boosts. The welcome offer is available in 18 other states, however. When it comes to Apple Pay, I'm glad to see that it can be use it for both deposits and withdrawals. Just keep in mind that this might vary from state to state, just like it's case in NY. Who thought that living in NY has so many downsides.

Best For: Horse Racing Options
Caesars offers an excellent all round platform that is my go-to recommendation for anyone who wants to bet on horse racing. New users who use the promo code WSN100 can trigger a second chance bet offer, based on your first wager after signing up. All you need to do is create an account, make your first deposit of $10 or more and place your first bet. If it loses, you’ll receive a bonus bet of the same value of your stake, up to $1,000.
I love this kind of offer, because it’s basically a win-win: either you win your first bet, or you get another shot at it.
If you were planning to use Apple Pay to make your deposits, you should be aware that it's only available in Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina and Wyoming. As you can guess, since I'm in New York at the moment, I wasn't able to make a deposit with Apple Pay. It should be noted that you can't make withdrawals at all using Apple Pay at Caesars, but there are other withdrawal methods you can choose from, so it's not that big of a problem.
Caesars’ desktop platform is very usable and beginner friendly. As for their mobile interface, I didn’t see anything to write home about. BetMGM and Caesars utilize what largely appears to be an identical layout. It makes betting on the go easy, but ultimately, it’s not as slick as the mobile experience at the likes of FanDuel.
Horse racing is kind of a forgotten sport when it comes to the top US sportsbooks, but it’s clearly a priority for Caesars. You need to download a separate app named Caesars Racebook to access the lines, which you can find on the App Store. You can bet on races from around the world and even watch many of them live, right on the app.
The platform offers up-to-the-minute coverage for greyhound, thoroughbred, and harness races spanning 300+ global tracks in North America, Australia, South Korea, Japan, Great Britain, the UAE, and countless other countries. If you’re into both horse racing and regular sports betting, Caesars is an excellent choice.

Best For: Variety of Bets
bet365 is the only sportsbook on my list that gives you a choice of welcome bonuses, which is great. New players can choose between claiming $150 bonus bets based on their first wager of just $5 or a “First Bet Safety Net” worth up to $1,000. The former is the smart choice for lower stakes and more casual players, whereas the latter makes sense if you want to make a big bet right off the bat. Just don't forget to use promo code WSN365 to claim one of these offers.
bet365 also has some great on-running promos, including massive odds boosts across a wide range of sports, most of which I found in the midst of major tournaments like the NBA Playoffs and NHL Playoffs. Should you manage to hit a two-leg parlay, you get a 5% win boost. Fourteen-legged parlays and above qualify for a 70% boost. Still, I wouldn’t trust myself to put together fourteen predictions in a row.
When using Apple Pay, you can easily make deposits with a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $10,000. However, withdrawals are a bit tricky. You can't withdraw using Apple Pay, so if you deposit with Apple Pay, all your withdrawals will be processed as bank transfers instead.
In terms of betting markets, bet365 is leading the way and includes some really unique options. As I poked around their mobile interface, I counted a staggering 31 categories in the “Sports” tab. They’re the only Apple Pay betting site I reviewed that has esports odds for Call of Duty, League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike, and e-basketball. Other unique categories include Jai Alai, water polo, field hockey, beach volleyball, snooker, badminton, darts, volleyball and table tennis.
They also have a Virtual Sports category, which includes computer-generated variants of horse racing, stock car racing, cycling, and the classics like baseball and basketball.
There’s a new “match” every 3–5 minutes, and results are posted instantly. However, you must be logged in to watch the virtual action unfold in real-time. If you’re looking for markets outside the mainstream, bet365 puts their competition to shame in terms of betting variety.

✅$1,000 Safety Net Bet OR $150 in Bonus Bets - Promo code: WSN365
✅31 mainstream sports categories are available
✅Odds boosts on a diverse range of markets
Best For: Live Betting
Every sportsbook on the list so far offers plenty of in-game betting opportunities depending on when you decide to check their live markets, but only BetRivers will boost your wins by 25% after 10 PM EST seven days a week. It’s an excellent promo that almost makes up for their lackluster welcome package in comparison to the rest of the sites.
As well as the promo, live betting at BetRivers is great in general. The “Live” tab shows you all the live games and competitions currently available to bet on. If you click into one, you’ll see detailed stats and a visual representation of the action as it happens. You can even stream some games, and the “Streaming Live” option is always available in the menu.
New users at BetRivers can claim a Second Chance Bet with no promo code required. You just need to sign up, make a deposit of $10 or more and place your first bet. If it loses, your stake will be refunded in a bonus bet. The maximum available varies state by state: here in NY, the most I could claim was $100, which is much lower than Caesar's similar offer. Other states range from $250 to $500.
In terms of variety of sports, BetRivers is on par with Caesars’ minus the horse racing options. Not including their live markets, I counted 19 sports categories in BetRivers’ library. They have odds for the Olympics, which I didn’t find elsewhere. Their House Specials were a nice touch, which are basically odds boosts that get updated daily. I found a few proposition bets surrounding Tiger Woods’ upcoming PGA performance, and their featured specials involved point spreads for the NY Jets, Buffalo Bills, and NY Giants. It seems as though BetRivers mixes these up depending on your state of residence, which is pretty cool.

✅$100 Bonus Bet
✅25% boost on live wagers after 10 PM EST
✅Eight popular in-game wagering categories
Best For: All Rounder
DraftKings mobile interface is very easy to get the hang of, with lots of little software touches that make it especially easy to use. Although I was able to search for specific markets and upcoming events by clicking on the magnifying glass with “All Sports” written beneath, I found it easier to use their middle menu banner to sort by category.
I was able to both deposit and withdraw funds through Apple Pay, which is a perk that only FanDuel has to offer aside from DK. I received a $50 payout from DraftKings within 2 hours of requesting a withdrawal via Apple Pay.
They feature a low minimum deposit requirement of $5, but high rollers can get up to $20,000 delivered per transaction. In order to claim their $250 welcome bonus, all you have to do is sign up, make your first deposit, and place your first bet of $5 or more on any sporting event. There were no odds restrictions, and whether you win or lose, you’ll still get the bonus bets.
Placing my first bet was as easy as tapping the screen and modifying the bet slip (which can be found under “My Bets” if you accidentally close it out). I was able to enter how much I wanted to spend with one tap, and the suggested NBA parlays up top were a nice addition too.
In-play betting at DraftKings is very straightforward, with the live sports nearly listed in a menu at the top of the page. The variety of live bets, including lots of props, is very impressive, and you can even get live stats and “Fun Facts” from many games and events.

Apple Pay is a mobile payment service offered from the iPhone 6 and iPad Mini 3 all the way up to the most recent iPhone 15, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and Apple Watch Ultra. Nearly every store accepts Apple Pay right now, and it’s meant to replace your debit or credit card while also providing extra security.
To use Apple Pay, you can simply add your debit or credit card to the Wallet app on your iPhone. Payments from your card are then processed via Apple Pay and confirmed using your biometric information, both online and for contactless payments in person.
Even though all the sportsbooks we’ve reviewed accept immediate Apple Pay deposits, only a handful of them are equipped to issue withdrawals through Apple Pay. FanDuel and DraftKings are the only sportsbooks that allow bettors to utilize Apple Pay on both sides of the transaction.
If you’re getting started with a site like bet365 or Caesars, you’ll have to select another e-wallet such as PayPal or Venmo to get your winnings. On the bright side, PayPal and Venmo offer the same fee-free convenience, flexible transaction limits, and immediacy that Apple Pay is known for.
Once you add your VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or AMEX card details to your Apple Wallet, you can leave your wallet at home and pay for things using a digitized version of your debit or credit card. This means you never need to make a direct payment to your sportsbook using your bank card, creating an extra layer of both security and privacy between the two.
Apple Pay doesn't impose any fees on either side of the transaction and sportsbooks very rarely charge for Apple Pay transactions either.
Apple Pay technology is both extremely safe and satisfyingly modern, with the ability to confirm payments just by glancing at the screen thanks to Face ID. It keeps you from having to enter your card number or banking information manually, and means your data stays safe from prying eyes or malicious actors using public Wi-Fi to hack sportsbook accounts.
More sportsbooks than ever are gearing up to accept Apple Pay because of its accessibility and convenience. However, sites like FanDuel don’t accept Apple Cash as a form of payment. They also make it clear that Apple Pay deposits with a credit card may be treated as a cash advance.
Whether you’re not particularly tech-savvy, you’re new to placing bets online, or you could use a quick refresher on how Apple Pay works, WSN has you covered. I have documented my personal experiences with making deposits and initiating withdrawals using Apple Pay at FanDuel.
Here’s my step-by-step guide:
1. Download FanDuel From the App Store
First up, I went to the App Store on my iPhone 14. After I searched for FanDuel Sportsbook & Casino, I clicked on “Get” and waited for the app to appear on my home screen.
2. Create Your New Sports Betting Account
I opened the FanDuel application and clicked the green “Join” button at the top-right corner of my screen. I entered my preferred email address before creating a username and settling on a secure password. I clicked “Create Account,” thereby certifying that I was 21+ years of age and living in a state where FanDuel operates.
3. Verify Your Identity And Personal Info
Once I’d created a new account with FanDuel, I was asked to verify my identity and personal information. I saw two ways to complete their verification process, so I chose the path of least resistance by clicking “Let Us Fill In Your Info.“ After I entered the last four digits of my Social Security number, I clicked “Fill In My Info” once again.
FanDuel found the rest of my information and confirmed that I was eligible to bet. If you would rather fill in the details on your own, click “Fill In Your Info Yourself.” Enter your first and last name before clicking “Next” and entering your DOB and phone number. After you click “Next,” confirm your residential address and click “Submit” to confirm your location and identity.
4. Add Funds To Your FanDuel Balance
Once I’d verified my personal information, I clicked on the “Account” button at the bottom-right corner of my screen. I clicked on “Add Funds” and I was redirected to a screen with FanDuel’s deposit options. I clicked “Apple Pay” and selected the $25 tab before clicking “Add Money.”
Just like any other Apple Pay transaction, I was asked to confirm my FanDuel purchase using Face ID. If you have an older iPhone or iPad, you may be asked to use the fingerprint sensor. Otherwise, enter the passcode you used to unlock your phone in order to verify the purchase.
5. Request A Withdrawal Using Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo
Once I’d won $50, I decided it would be a good idea to test out FanDuel’s withdrawal speeds. I clicked on the “Account” tab at the bottom-right corner of my screen before clicking “Withdraw Funds” and selecting PayPal from the list of banking options.
Even though FanDuel does allow for cash withdrawals using Apple Pay, they don’t yet offer that service in New York. Nonetheless, I received my winnings via PayPal just 2 hours after placing my original request. I then initiated an immediate transfer from PayPal to my real bank account.
Whether you choose to use Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo, you can expect similarly convenient, quick, and fee-free transactions. It couldn’t be much easier to deposit and withdraw using Apple Pay at FanDuel, and even complete beginners won’t have an issue cashing out their winnings. In most states, you can use Apple Pay to directly withdraw your winnings too, but not yet in NY.
Yes, you can get bonuses and promotions with any of the sportsbooks we’ve listed using Apple Pay. Even though many sports betting sites don’t allow their users to initiate withdrawals using Apple Pay, each platform we’ve reviewed accepts Apple Pay deposits starting from $10.
So long as you deposit the minimum required amount to claim your welcome bonus, it doesn’t particularly matter which method you choose. That said, using Apple Pay to add funds to your sports betting account is simple, immediate, and free of charge.
Apple Pay has become a deposit method of choice for many sports bettors due to its unmatched convenience, native compatibility with iPhone, quick transaction speeds, and ease-of-use. We’ve compiled a full list of Apple Pay betting sites for players in May 2024:
FanDuel
