It doesn’t impose its own maximum limits and the limits depend on the settings of each payment provider. Suffice to say I haven’t hit any limits when I’ve been using my Discover card to top up my account.
Discover can’t be used to withdraw your funds, although interestingly Visa and Mastercard debit cards can be used. Given that, I’d like to see Discover debit cards added as a withdrawal method.
Caesars have a great selection of casino games that cover all the major categories: slots, table games, live dealers and jackpots. However, the menu is somewhat let down by the software, in my opinion. It feels pretty basic, and I’d like to see some better organization among the different games. There is currently no dedicated section for live dealer games for a start, instead they are dispersed throughout the general table categories like roulette and blackjack.
Much better is Caesars Rewards, which is my favorite loyalty program in the entire country, along with MGM Rewards. Whenever you spend real money at Caesars, either at the online casino, sportsbook or at an in-person resort, you earn both Tier Credits and Rewards Credits. The latter can be cashed in for all kinds of benefits, both online and offline. You’ll also qualify for some great discounts and exclusive offers from Caesars’ partners when you sign up.
I found it very easy to use my Discover card to make deposits at BetMGM. Deposits start at $10, which is pretty much standard for the industry, and bank card payments are processed instantly. There is a maximum deposit of $10,000 allowed, making Discover a good option for higher rollers too.
Discover can’t be used for withdrawals at BetMGM, unlike at the likes of bet365.
Despite this, there are lots of other compelling reasons for Discover users to choose BetMGM. The variety of games is excellent, and includes over a thousand slots, table games and dozens of live dealer games from Evolution. There are also 128 exclusive games produced especially for BetMGM, which you won’t find anywhere else. If you love the idea of discovering new games that represent a break from the Pragmatic and NetEnt classics, BetMGM is perfect.
My favorite part of playing at BetMGM, however, is MGM Rewards. The loyalty program spans both your online betting and your offline spending habits at in-person MGM resorts. Any money you spend generates MGM Rewards points, which can be spent at MGM hotels, restaurants or entertainment events. Alternatively, you can cash them in online for casino bonuses.
Wheel of Fortune is a New Jersey exclusive casino, modeled after the iconic game show from which it takes its name. It advertises itself as the first brand-led casino in the US, and that brand leads to some fun and exclusive touches that help the casino stand out from the crowd.
Topping up my Wheel of Fortune account with my Discover debit card was very easy. I would put it on par with bank card payments at other top casinos in NJ. You can use either your Discover debit or credit card to make instant deposits, but you can’t withdraw to your Discover card.
You can choose from an impressive range of alternative withdrawal options however, including Visa or Mastercard debit cards (if you used them first), different types of bank transfers, various e-wallets and even a paper check in the mail.
For me, Wheel of Fortune really stands out thanks to its selection of exclusive games inspired by the TV show. Games like Wheel of Fortune Elegant Emeralds, Wheel of Fortune On Tour and Wheel of Fortune Hawaiian Getaway all take the iconic concept and run with it in different ways.
I also love that they prominently incorporate the prize wheel itself into its selection of promos, including the ability to spin once a day to receive a random prize.
Harrah’s lets you make deposits via Discover credit and debit cards. They don’t charge any fees and I found the process very simple and familiar. There’s a $10 minimum deposit and a $600 cap on Discover deposits per day, which is a little restrictive and I think could be expanded.
You can’t request a withdrawal to your Discover debit card, although debit card withdrawals are possible at sites like FanDuel NJ. Instead, you’ll have to choose between ACH Transfer, PayPal, Caesars Online Play+ Card or cash at Caesars Atlantic City.
Harrah’s is owned and operated by Caesars and as such, all players that sign up get access to Caesars Rewards, one of my favorite rewards programs in the US. Click “Continue” and select two security questions from the drop-down menus. Enter an answer for each question.
Enter your mobile phone number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Check the first box confirming that you agree to BetRivers’ Terms of Service. Check the second box to verify that you’re 21+ years old and confirm that you will be the only person using the account.
Check the third box to confirm the accuracy of your sign-up information and certify that you’re not a casino key employee in your state of residence. You can also opt out of marketing texts and enable two-factor “Strong” authentication via the mobile number you provided upon login.
