It has been a big couple of days for the Vegas Golden Knights. On Monday, the Golden Knights visited the White House to commemorate their Stanley Cup victory one more time. This Tuesday night, the Golden Knights will take on the Washington Capitals.
The offense for the Golden Knights has a big task ahead of them as they look to try and score consistently against the solid defense of the Capitals. Washington ranks eighth in the league in goals per game (2.85) thanks to the stellar play of their goalies.
The Golden Knights are more than up for the task against the Capitals’ defense, with center Jack Eichl leading the way for a potential big win. Vegas is tied for fifth in the league in goals per game (3.67) led by the star playmaking of center Jack Eichel (15 points).

The Pittsburgh Penguins are on a four-game win streak after roughly starting the season. This is due to the stellar performance of players on the ice, including center Evgeni Malkin. In the last five games, Malkin has accumulated seven points, with four of them being goals. He has accounted for five points in the four games in November.
He, along with the other members of the team, have a chance to continue their solid win streak as the Penguins face the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road.
The Blue Jackets have allowed an average of 3.47 goals per game, which is the tenth worst in the league. Pittsburgh has averaged 3.54 goals per game, which is the seventh-best in the league. They have also scored four goals in the last two wins.
Malkin is a player who is playing at a high level this early into the season at 37 years old. He should have a solid game against the defense of the Blue Jackets.
A couple of weeks ago, the matchup between the New Jersey Devils and the Winnipeg Jets would be one of the most scored games of the week. After the injury to Devil's star center Jack Hughes, New Jersey has become less efficient on the offensive side of the ice.
Winnipeg, on the other hand, remains intact and is a reliable force on offense. The Jets are averaging 3.5 goals per game, which is ranked 10th in the NHL. This is due to the stellar play from a loaded Jets offense that features seven players accounting for 10 points this season. Two players have accounted for 17 points this season, including center Mark Scheifele.
In 14 games this season, Scheifele has accounted for five goals and 12 assists. He is the team’s court general and possesses great vision to help set up excellent scoring opportunities for his teammates.
The Devils allow an average of 3.69 goals per game, which is the fourth-worst in the league. This game will be a great opportunity for Scheifele to account for multiple assists.
