Our first prop bet of the day will take us to Toronto, Ontario. This is a very surprising series. The Panthers were down 3-1 against the Boston Bruins and pulled off an incredible upset winning three games in a row. The Maple Leafs also shocked the world when they won their first Playoff series since 2004. I do not want to jinx anything, but they could be on their way to breaking their Stanley Cup curse. We will look at the Maple Leafs’ Morgan Reilly for this prop. Reilly may be a defenseman, but he was very effective on the offensive end in the First Round. Reilyl will finish this game with a point. Bet on the over.
Reilly averaged well under a point a game in the regular season but is averaging 1.33 points per game in the Playoffs. He is playing over 24 minutes a game and has three goals and five assists. Those numbers cannot be taken lightly. Reilly is stepping up when it matters most and providing Toronto with some necessary offense. It is also worth noting that the 29-year-old did not have a point in Game One of the First Round but has had one or more points in each Playoff game since. He is playing smart hockey and will continue his streak today. Bet on the over.

We will stay in Toronto for our second prop bet of the day. This bet will involve the Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk. Tkachuk is probably already being hailed as a hero in South Florida. The 25-year-old has been an absolute stud in his first season in a Panthers uniform. He led the team with 109 points in the regular season and has 11 points in the Playoffs. The winger put together some impressive performances in the Playoffs to push the Panthers past the Bruins in the First Round. He will finish this game with four or more shots. Bet on the over.
Tkachuk only took one shot in his previous game, but that is not a normal situation. He took four shots in the game before that and had four or more shots in a couple of other games in the First Round. Tkachuk is not shooting up a storm, but he is also not afraid to shoot. More importantly, Tkachuk has proven he can step up to the occasion and has done so throughout these Playoffs. He will recognize how important his offense is and put on a shooting display. Tkachuk will have no issue having four or more shots. Bet on the over.

There are only two games on slate today, so our third prop bet will also come from the Panther-Maple Leafs game. Auston Matthews will be the subject of this prop. I cannot say enough good things about Matthews. He is an outstanding player and incredibly dangerous with the puck in his hands. Matthews will score at least one goal in this game. Bet on the over.
Matthews scored a goal in his previous game and has scored at least one goal in his last four games. This is quite impressive, especially considering he is not taking a ridiculous number of shots. He has only taken 18 shots in those four games and has four goals. That means that Matthews is taking smart shots and still converting over 20% of his shots. This should not be taken lightly and leads me to believe he will score again in this game. Bet on the over.

We will go to Dallas, Texas, for our fourth prop bet of the day. The Kraken surprised the Colorado Avalanche by beating them in seven games in the First Round. It was a back-and-forth series, and Seattle proved to be the better team. The Stars had a bit of an easier go of it in the First Round. They faced the Minnesota Wild and were down 2-1 after three games. However, they hit the gas after that and won their next three games. Dallas has a very impressive team and simply outplayed Minnesota. We will look at Oliver Bjorkstrand for this prop. Bjorkstrand has been fairly quiet in the Playoffs but has had no problem shooting. He will finish with three or more shots.
Bjorkstrand averaged 2.67 shots per game against the Stars in the regular season. That may not sway you either way, but his recent performances will. Bjorkstrand had six shots in his last game and finished with two goals (his only two goals of the Playoffs). The winger has increased his shooting in the Playoffs and has had three or more shots in three of his last four games. Bjorkstrand will have at least three shots in this game. Bet on the over.

We are on to our final prop bet of the day. This prop will involve the Kraken’s Matty Beniers. Beniers was solid during the regular season but has gone radio silent in the Playoffs. He is playing over 18 minutes a game but is having very limited offensive production. Beniers will finish this game without a point. Bet on the under.
Beniers played in every game in the First Round and only had one point (a Game Three goal). He had 57 points in the regular season but is going through a slump at the worst time. This is the worst time for Beniers to be slumping, but he can still turn it around. With that being said, he will not turn it around today. The center cannot do much right and will struggle to contribute positively in this game. Bet on the under.
