Fortunately for the Senators, they have the chance to account for a high-scoring game. Ottawa is ranked 14th in the league in goals per game (3.21), while Chicago’s defense is ranked 29th in goals allowed per game (3.56).

Detroit Red Wings vs. Carolina Hurricanes

There is plenty of faith to believe that the Hurricanes should get more productivity on Thursday as they face a Red Wings’ defense that is ranked 25th in the league in goals allowed per game (3.33).

One player who wants a rebound is forward Jake Guentzel, who didn’t account for a goal or an assist in his return to Pittsburgh. If the Hurricanes want to get out of this funk, they need a solid production from Guentzel to help set up shots.

Nashville Predators vs. Arizona Coyotes
