Our first prop bet of the day involves the New York Islanders Mathew Barzal. Barzal is one of the best players on the Rangers and leads the team in assists with 35. The center will finish this game with at least one point. Bet on the over.
Barzal’s production has actually been a little bit quieter at home this season. The 25-year-old has 22 points in 29 homes but 27 points in 27 away games.
However, I do not say that to concern you. I only say that to show that Barzal performs better on the road than at home. The reason he will hit the over is because of his past performance against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Barzal has only faced them once this season but finished the game with two goals on three shots. The British Columbia native performed well against the Penguins and will have another strong game against them today. Bet on the over.

Our second prop bet is also a safe one. It involves Chicago Blackhawks veteran Patrick Kane. Kane is no longer a young man. The winger is 34 years old and in the back half of his career. However, he still has solid production. The American has nine goals and 26 assists in 50 games. He also still shoots quite a bit and will finish this game with at least three shots. Bet on the over.
Patrick Kane is averaging 2.83 shots per game on the road this season.
That is significantly less than the 3.73 shots per game he averages at home, but it is still quite a bit. However, there are other reasons you should bet on the over. You should also bet on it because he will be facing the Ottawa Senators. The Senators do not have a horrible defense, but they could use a lot of improvement. They allow 32.3 shots per game and need to tighten up.
However, that works in Patrick Kane’s favor. Kane will be able to shoot three or more times because the Senators struggle on defense. Bet on the over.

The first two prop bets are safe, but this one is a little risky. I usually steer away from betting on a player to score a goal, but I am going to flip the script with this bet. Bet on Jason Robertson to score at least once today. Bet on the over.
Jason Robertson is having a phenomenal season. His 71 points are the seventh-most in the NHL, and his 34 goals are tied for the fifth-most with Bo Horvat and Mikko Rantanen. Robertson was closer to the top of the goal-scoring board earlier in the season, but Connor McDavid and David Pastrnak have stepped it up. Robertson has faced the Wild three times this season and only has one goal against them. That one goal came in his first matchup against Minnesota in early December. That may sound concerning to some, but that also means the winger is due for a goal this game.
I realize that saying Jason Robertson is due for a goal may not be the most compelling argument, so I will add this. Robertson is coming off a one-goal, one-assist game against the Boston Bruins. Even though the Stars lost, he has some momentum to take into this game. Robertson will use that momentum to score a goal. Bet on the over.
I did not intend to pick four overs in a row, yet here we are. This prop bet involves New York Rangers forward Filip Chytil. Chytil has significantly upped his production this season. The center only had 22 points in 67 games last year but has 33 points in 46 games this year. He will finish this game with at least one point. Bet on the over.
Chytil has failed to secure a point in his previous two games, but he will be facing the Edmonton Oilers today.
The Oilers are excellent offensively but subpar defensively. They allow 3.22 goals per game on 31.7 shots. While that is unfortunate for Edmonton, it is very promising for the Rangers and Chytil. Chytil will have plenty of opportunities to score or set up his teammates. The 23-year-old has become more of a goal scorer than a passer this season, but both are viable options. I do not need to say much else. Bet on the over.
Our final prop bet of the day involves a rivalry game between the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks. While these games have been intense in past year, I do not expect this game to be so crazy, as the Ducks are having a horrendous season and going through a rebuild.
Regardless, our prop bet involves Kings center, Adrian Kempe. Kempe is not shy when it comes to shooting the puck, but he will not have four or more shots this game. Bet on the under.
Kempe averages nearly three shots a game and is coming off a four-shot game against the Buffalo Sabres. However, this game will be different.
Kempe will shoot a couple of times, but not enough to hit the over. This is because of his past performance against the Ducks. Kempe faced them on December 20 for the first time this season and only shot twice. He did end up with two assists but did not take on much of a scoring role. I expect a similar thing to happen this game as well.
The Ducks have a horrible defense, but Kempe will not be the player to dismantle it. Bet on the under.
