The final weekday coming off the NHL All-Star break has some games that are not worth the complete value and game lines, but that doesn't mean there isn't value in the player props. Several games tonight have incredible value in the player props because there are going to be bad defenses playing tonight. There will be future Hall of famers to watch for tonight as they could have easily great performances.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Friday.

The biggest game of the night is set for a Western Conference versus Eastern Conference matchup as the Minnesota Wild host the Pittsburgh Penguins. This game normally has the biggest value in terms of game lines, but also in prop bets.
There's not a lot of trust for either offense to succeed in this game, but one team has a significantly worse defense than the other. Well, Pittsburgh's defense is ranked fifth in the league in goals allowed per game, Minnesota has a defense that allows an average of 3.3 goals per game, the 19th most in the league.
One player to rely on in this game will always be future Hall of Famer and Penguins star center Sidney Crosby. This season, Crosby has accounted for 51 points with 27 of them being goals and 24 assists. He has been by far the best player on a team that is underwhelming on the offensive side of the ice.
The last time that Crosby and the Penguins faced the Wild was on December 18, when Pittsburgh defeated Minnesota with a 4-3 score. Crosby accounted for an assist and a goal in power play in the third period that would help seal the game. He is going to be the player that will define this game and this series this season.

One of the two games projected to be a blowout in tonight’s NHL games is set as the Edmonton Oilers go on the road to take on the Anaheim Ducks. There is great value in this game due to the elite offense that the Oilers possess versus the terrible defense that the Ducks possess.
There is great value in this game due to the elite offense that the Oilers possess versus the terrible defense that the Ducks possess. Edmonton is ranked fifth in the league in goals per game (3.46) while Anaheim possesses the seventh-worst scoring defense in the league by allowing an average of 3.4 goals per game.
