Best NHL Prop Bets Today December 13

There are only four games being played on Wednesday night in the NHL. The games that will be taking place on the ice tonight, however, are set to be huge opportunities for players to make significant bets. These are bets that are based on player props and present excellent potential winnings.

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Montreal Canadians

My Pick – Evgeni Malkin to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-215 at DraftKings)

The Pittsburgh Penguins have rarely caught a break, as they will count for a win but then go on a significant losing streak or break their rhythm. The Penguins are going to attempt to get on another win streak with a win on Wednesday night versus the Montreal Canadiens.

The offense of the Penguins has slipped and the ranking significantly over the past few weeks as they haven’t been efficient in scoring. Outside of scoring four goals in the win over Arizona on Tuesday, Pittsburgh has scored only six goals in the previous four games.

Penguin center Evgeni Malkin has accounted for a goal or an assist in five of the last seven games. Malkin is one of the most reliable players for the Penguins, as he has scored 23 points, with ten of them being goals and 13 assists. He should have an opportunity to find his way to the goal, as the Canadians are ranked 25th in the league in points allowed per game (3.39).

Boston Bruins vs. New Jersey Devils

My Pick – David Pastrnak to Account for Over 1.5 Points (-120 at DraftKings)

The Boston Bruins go on the road to take on the New Jersey Devils and the closest projected matchup of the night in the NHL. Both the Devils and the Bruins have reliable high-caliber offenses in the league.

The biggest difference of this game would be the defensive efficiency as the Devils are among the worst in the league. New Jersey is ranked second to last in points allowed per game (3.62), which allows a great opportunity for Boston to have a huge scoring night.

Brunes Ford David Pastrank is one of the most efficient and explosive players in the NHL offensively. He has scored two or more points in three of the last five games. He is also coming off a game against the Arizona Coyotes this past Saturday, where he scored two goals and accounted for an assist.

Against a terrible and lackluster Devils’ defense, Pastrank should have the biggest game of the night.
