Our first prop bet of the day will take us to Raleigh, North Carolina, for a matchup between the Ottawa Senators and the Carolina Hurricanes. This game should be pretty one-sided, but it has some good prop bets. This prop will involve the Hurricanes’ Sebastian Aho. Aho continues to be a star in this league. The 25-year-old is averaging nearly a point a game and has been a consistent point scorer for the Hurricanes. He is also an efficient shooter and converts over 16% of his shots. The Finnish native will put at least three shots on the net this game. Bet on the over.
Aho comes into this game with 34 goals and 30 assists. He put up three shots in his previous game against the New York Islanders and will be battling with a Senators team that is not great on the defensive end. The Senators allow 3.25 goals per game on 31.4 shots. Ottawa is not the worst defensive team, but they will have to find some quality defensemen this off-season. Aho shot well against the Senators in his previous matchup against them this season. He failed to score a goal but put three shots on the net in less than 17 minutes. I expect a similar performance today. Bet on the over.

We will go from Raleigh, North Carolina, to Sunrise, Florida, for our second prop bet of the day. This should be an exciting game, as both of these teams have high-powered offenses. We will look at the Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk for this prop. Tkachuk is having the best season of his career and is by far the best player on the Panthers. The winger had an excellent season last year and finished with 104 points, but is projected to top that this year. I expect Tkachuk to have two-three points today. Bet on the over.
Tkachuk has 102 points (38 goals, 64 assists) in 74 games this season. He is averaging 1.38 goals per game and is facing a weaker Buffalo Sabres squad today. As I mentioned above, the Sabres have an excellent offense, but they have a questionable defense. The Sabres allow 3.64 goals per game on 33.1 shots. More importantly, Tkachuk has had success against them this season. The 25-year-old has five points in three games against Buffalo. His numbers are strong, so he will have at least two points today. Bet on the over.

We will travel north to Newark, New Jersey, for our third prop bet of the day. This prop is a unique one because the odds for the over and the under are the same at -115. It will involve the Penguins’ Kris Letang. Letang has had himself quite a year. The veteran has continued to be a solid and reliable defenseman but ran into some health issues earlier in the season when he suffered a stroke. Letang missed about ten days but returned to form pretty soon after getting back on the ice. With that being said, his scoring has been slow this season (like it is every year), and he is not shooting a ton. Letang will finish with less than three shots this game. Bet on the under.
Letang has shot two or fewer times in his previous two games. He will take on a New Jersey Devils team that has a strong defense in this matchup. The Devils allow 2.75 goals per game and 28.1 shots. New Jersey often stifles their opponents' shooting, which is a large reason why I would not recommend betting on the over. In addition, Letang only put up two shots against the Devils earlier this season. Bet on the under.
Our fourth prop bet of the day is a bit of a risky one. This prop will come from the Blue Jackets-Maple Leafs games and will involve the Maple Leafs’ William Nylander. Nylander is only 26 years old and is already one of the premier pieces on the Maple Leafs. He is tied for the most goals on the team with 37 and will get goal #38 tonight. Bet on Nylander to be an anytime scorer.
Nylander is one of the most efficient shooters on the Maple Leafs and converts 14% of his shots. He will put up plenty of shots today, as he will be facing one of the worst defenses in the NHL. The Blue Jackets allow 3.96 goals per game and were shut out 7-0 two games ago. More importantly, Nylander scored in his previous game against the Blue Jackets. If you combine his knack for scoring with the Blue Jackets' lack of defense, you will see why he will score again today. Bet on Nylander to be an Anytime Scorer.
Our final prop bet of the day will be the safest one. Leon Draisaitl is an excellent player. However, he is sometimes overshadowed by Connor McDavid. McDavid is having a historic season, but Draisaitl is not that far behind him. The center is one of only a handful of players with over 100 points this season. Draisaitl will have at least one assist in this game. Bet on the over.
Draisaitl failed to record an assist in his previous game against the Anaheim Ducks but had at least one assist in his eight games before that. He has been on a passing tear, and I do not expect that to stop with only a few games left in the season. Play it safe and bet on McDavid to have at least one assist.
