Our first prop bet the day will take us to Long Island, New York. The Hurricanes have won Games One, Two, and Four of this series, but the Islanders won Games Three and Five. Carolina has the opportunity to move on to the next round with a win. Bo Horvat will be the subject of this prop. Horvat had a slow start to this series but has begun to heat up a little bit. He will finish this game with a point. Bet on the over.
I have spoken about Horvat a lot since he was traded from the Vancouver Canucks to the Islanders. To put it simply, his play has dropped since arriving in New York. Horvat even had a slow start to this series. The center could not secure one point in the first three games. However, Horvat is starting to heat up. He had a goal in Game Four and an assist in Game Five. Two points in two games are not incredibly impressive, but it is a sign of him turning a corner and better times to come. I expect Horvat to secure another point in this game. The Islanders are facing elimination, so he will perform up to expectation. Bet on the over.

We will stay in Long Island for our second prop. However, this prop will focus more on the Hurricanes than the Islanders. We will look at Brent Burns for this prop. Burns has been playing some serious minutes for the Hurricanes in this series. He is averaging over 23 minutes a game on the ice and leads the Hurricanes in TOI. He is yet to score a goal but has not been afraid to shoot. Burns will finish with four or more shots. Bet on the over.
Burns is averaging 4.4 shots per game in this series. He shot once in Game Three but has shot four, five, or six times in all the other games. Burns has never been an efficient shooter, but he has always shot a lot. The defenseman shot over 250 times in the regular season and has 22 shots in this series. Given that he is averaging over four shots a game in the Playoffs, it only seems reasonable that he will have four-six shots in this game. Not only is Burns not afraid to shoot, but he also plays a lot, so he will have plenty of opportunities to put shots on the net. Bet on the over.

Our third prop bet of the day will take us to Denver, Colorado. The Kraken were down 2-1 in this series but won Games Four and Five to take a 3-2 series lead. Seattle may not be as good on paper as Colorado, but they have been playing better hockey. We will look at the Kraken’s Oliver Bjorkstrand for this prop. Bjorkstrand signed with the Kraken this offseason after spending seven seasons with the Columbus Blue Jackets. This signing paid off for the Kraken, as Bjorkstrand had the best season of his career this year. He was one of a handful of Seattle players with 20 goals or more and one of their most prolific shooters. Bjorkstrand will have three or more shots in this game. Bet on the over.
Bjorkstrand averaged 2.44 shots per game during the regular season and 2.4 shots per game in this series. He started this round a little slow and only had five shots in his first three games. However, he turned it up in Games Four and Five and had seven combined shots. The winger’s ice time did not change much in these games, but he took more shots. This is indicative of a trend that we will see from Bjorkstrand for the rest of the Playoffs. He will finish with three or more shots. Bet on the over.

Our fourth prop bet of the day will come from the Dallas Stars vs Minnesota Wild matchup. The Wild had a 2-1 lead in this series, but the Stars won Games Four and Five and took the series lead. This prop will involve Minnesota’s Ryan Hartman. Hartman did not stand out in the regular season and only had 37 points (15 goals, 22 assists) in 59 games. However, he has hit the gas in the Playoffs and has five points (two goals, three assists) in four games. The winger will have a point in this game. Bet on the over.
Hartman did not have a point in his previous game but had at least one point in his three games before that. The 28-year-old has never been a star in this league but has been critical for the Wild in the Playoffs. Since this is an elimination game for Minnesota, Hartman will look for every opportunity to get a point. Bet on the over.

We will return to Florida for our final prop of the day. David Pastrnak will be the subject of this prop. Pastrnak has received a lot of criticism for his poor play in this series. The Czech native had over 100 points in the regular season but only has two points (both goals) in this series. With that being said, I expect Pastrnak to return to form in this game and score a goal. Bet on Pastrnak to be an Anytime Scorer.
Pastrnak has not scored since Game Three but also has not stopped shooting. The winger has taken seven shots in the last two games, and the puck has not found the back of the net. That means he is due to score this game. If he puts up three or four shots again, one will slip through.
