Our first prop bet will take us to Toronto, Ontario. The Maple Leafs have an opportunity to advance beyond the First Round of the Playoffs with a win in this game. Toronto was crushed in Game One but went on to win the next three games. The subject of this prop will be the Lightnings’s Brayden Point. Point is having himself a nice First Round. He comes into this game with two goals and two assists. He shot quite a bit during the regular season and has taken that shooting consistency in the Playoffs. Point will shoot three or more times in this game. Bet on the over.
Point averaged 2.87 shots per game during the season. He was one of Tampa’s most prolific shooters and is shooting even more in the Playoffs. The center is averaging four shots a game in this series and leads the Lightning with 16 shots. He shot three times in Game Four and seven times in Game Three. Point did not score a goal in either of those games, but he was not afraid to shoot. The 27-year-old has only shot less than three times once in this series, so it would make sense for him to put up at least three shots today. Bet on the over.

Our second prop bet of the day will come from the New York Rangers vs New Jersey Devils matchup. The Rangers won Games One and Two 5-1 each time, but the Devils won Games Three and Four. Since this series is tied at two games apiece and both teams play so close to each other, this will be the most intense game of the day. We will look at the Devils’ Dawson Mercer for this prop. Mercer had a pretty strong regular season but has been super quiet in the Playoffs. The New Foundland native is yet to have a point in this series, and I do not expect that to change today. Play it safe, and bet on the under.
Mercer finished the regular season with 27 goals and 29 assists but has been slumping in this series. He has a +/- of -2 and has only taken two shots. The center is not regarded as a top player on this stacked Devils team, but this is a little surprising. You would expect him to have at least one assist. Mercer is a decent player, but I cannot in good conscience tell you to bet on him to have a point. He is not shooting enough, and the Devils are also not scoring many goals. The 21-year-old will not have enough opportunities to get and assist. Bet on the under.

We will stay in New Jersey for our third prop of the day and look at the Devils’ Timo Meier. Meier did not excel when he was traded to the Devils before the Trade Deadline, but he had some strong moments. However, he has not been too successful in the Playoffs. Meier is yet to score and does not have any assists. With that being said, he has been shooting a lot and will put up four or more shots in this game. Bet on the over.
Meier is averaging 3.75 shots per game in this series. This is a little lower than his regular season average of 4.19. However, I would not worry too much. Meier put up five shots in Game Three and four shots in Game Two, so he has shown that he has the capability to shoot four or more times. Since this is a Devils’ home game, and New Jersey has the chance to take the series lead, I expect Timo to be less hesitant to shoot and look for more opportunities. Bet on the over.

We will go to Las Vegas for our fourth prop bet of the day. The Golden Knights lost Game One of this series 5-1 but went on to win the next three games. Vegas may have missed the Playoffs last year, but they are one game away from moving on to the Second Round this year. Alex Pietrangelo will be the subject of this prop. Pietrangelo is a strong defenseman but also has some offensive ability. He finished the regular season with 54 points (11 goals, 43 assists) and has four assists in this series. The 33-year-old will have a point in this game. Bet on the over.
Pietrangelo did not have a point in Game Four but had two points in Games Two and Three. Since Vegas is playing at home and could move on with a win, I expect Pietrangelo to be a little more aggressive on the offensive side. That could mean one or two more additional shots and more puck control on the ice. It will also lead to a point. Bet on the over.

We will return to Toronto for our final prop bet of the day. Steven Stamkos continues to impress at 33 years old. The Markham, Ontario native had 84 points this season and was a constant scoring threat. However, he has had more assists than goals in five of his last six seasons. I only say this because Stamkos will have an assist in this game. Bet on the over.
Stamkos has two assists in this series. One of those assists came in Game Three, and the other one came in Game Two. The veteran has not had an assist in every game but will have one today because it is an elimination game. Stamkos will be looking for every opportunity to set up his teammates. Bet on the over.
