Our first prop bet of the day will come from the Florida Panthers vs Boston Bruins game. There are only two games on slate today, so you will see a couple more props from this game. The Bruins have had the Panthers on the ropes in this series. Florida won Game Two 6-3, but the Bruins won Games One, Three, and Four. To not many’s surprise, the Bruins have dominated this series. We will look at Taylor Hall for this prop. Hall was the Edmonton Oilers’ first overall pick in the 2010 NHL Draft. He played in Edmonton for six seasons and performed well but never became the star they hoped for. After Edmonton, Hall went to the New Jersey Devils for a few seasons, had a short first stint in Boston, played half a season in Buffalo, and came back to Boston in 2021. Hall has not been a fantastic player with the Bruins, but he has been a solid second-liner. The winger will finish this game with a point. Play it safe and bet on the over.

Hall has been a star in this year’s Playoffs. After having only 36 points (16 goals, 20 assists) in 61 regular season games, he has hit the gas and had four goals and three assists in four Playoff games. This has been very surprising, but anything can happen in the Playoffs. Hall is coming off a two-goal, two-assist game in Game Four and a one-goal, one-assist game in Game Three. Given his performances over the past two games, it is very reasonable to expect Hall to have a single point in this matchup. Bet on the over.

Our second prop bet of the day is safe but not as safe as the first one. This prop will involve the Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuk. Tkachuk has been the Panthers’ saving grace all season long. He led the team in points (109) during the regular season and leads them in points in this series with five. He has cemented himself as a top-ten player with his strong play this year. Tkachuk will take four or more shots today. Bet on the over.

Tkachuk is averaging 3.75 shots per game in this series. That number may not sway you either way, but this stat will. Tkachuk has taken ten shots over the last two games. He is seeing the puck well and not hesitating to shoot. The winger will not stop shooting in this game. The Panthers are on the brink of elimination, so Tkachuk will need to provide as much offensive firepower as possible. He can do that by shooting a lot and scoring goals. It should not be too hard for him to shoot, as the Bruins gave up 44 shots in Game Four. Tkachuk will have plenty of opportunities to put four shots on the net. Bet on the over.

We will stay in Boston for our third prop bet of the day. The subject of this prop will be Sam Bennett. This will be one of the riskier props but one worth taking nonetheless. Bennett finished the regular season with 40 points (16 goals, 24 assists) in 63 games. Those numbers are decent and good enough for the Panthers’ second line. Bennett has been one of the Panthers’ better players this series and finished with a goal in Game Four. He will have one point or more in this game. Bet on the over.

Bennett has never been a star in this league. However, he has been taken seriously over the last few seasons and has shown some goal-scoring ability. He has two goals and one assist in the Playoffs and has had a point in each of the three games he has played in. Bennett is showing that he can be a consistent scorer and will continue to show that in this game. He will finish with a point. Bet on the over.

Seattle Kraken vs Colorado Avalanche

Artturi Lehkonen U 2.5 Shots on Goal -135 (DraftKings)

Our fourth prop bet of the day will take us to Denver, Colorado. This series has been quite back-and-forth. The Kraken won Game One 3-1, but the Avalanche won Games Two and Three. However, the Kraken tied up the series with a 3-2 overtime win in Game Four. We will look at Artturi Lehkonen for this prop. Lehkonen does score sometimes, but he is not a premier scorer. He will finish this game with two shots or less. Bet on the under.

Lehkonen failed to shoot once in over 22 minutes on ice in Game Four and only shot twice in Game Three. He has never been known for shooting a lot, so I have no reason to believe that he will put up three shots in this game. In addition, Lehkonen only averaged 2.21 shots per game at home this season. The numbers point towards the under, so I recommend betting on it.

Mikko Rantanen Anytime Scorer +105 (FanDuel)

We are on to our final prop bet of the day. This prop will look at Mikko Rantanen. Rantanen had an incredible regular season and is having a great First Round of the Playoffs. He will score a goal in this game. Bet on him to be an Anytime Scorer.

Rantanen scored a goal in Game One and two goals in Games Three and Four. He has been on a scoring tear and converting nearly 40% of his shots. The winger is averaging over three shots a game in this series and will likely shoot four or more times in this matchup. Since he is shooting so much, at least one of those shots should result in a goal. Bet on Rantanen to be an Anytime Scorer.
