Tonight is the second last night this season in the NHL. The playoffs are set in both conferences which means there is not that much to play for. What there is to fight for in the final two days is for players to finish the season on the right note either for contract extensions or to settle scores and finish the season right. Look for some of these players from teams that just barely missed the playoffs and have some of the best performances of the night. Some of the best player props available tonight will come from DraftKings.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Wednesday.

It will be unusual to see future Hall of Fame center Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins not in the postseason. While the Penguins are not the formidable opponents they have been throughout the last couple of decades, Crosby has been still playing at an all-time high level. He is showing that he has the potential to stay in the league and play at a high level for many more years.
Crosby and the Penguins will finish the regular season on the road against the New York Islanders, a team they have defeated two of the three times a season. The Islanders are a team that has contained Crosby well as they have held him to no goals or assists in any of the three games played this season. Picking Crosby to account for at least two points against the Islanders is not normally a smart matchup, but considering the Islanders are resting mostly through the playoffs and Crosby wants to finish the regular season hot, this game has potential.
Crosby has been on fire still in the month of April. In the eight games played this month, Crosby has accounted for 13 points with seven being goals. He has also accounted for two or more points in the last three games. Expect a big game and a big finish for Crosby this season.
Bet on Sidney Crosby at DraftKings
It has been another disappointing season for the Arizona Coyotes. After making a significant run in the first half of the season for the playoffs, the Coyotes ultimately choked and the second half of the season. Arizona will finish the regular season at home hosting the Edmonton Oilers.
While it has been a disappointing season for Arizona, there is some hope for the future as 21-year-old Ford Dylan Guenther has been stepping up his play and becoming a more productive player. He will be a player to watch out for tonight against an Oilers team that will not be going as hard on the ice defensively.
In seven games played this April, Guenther has accumulated nine total points with five being goals. He will be looking to redeem himself individually to account for a goal or an assist against the Oilers after failing to do so last Friday in the 3-2 road overtime win.
Look for young players like Guenther to make a statement tonight as they try to impress their coaches and their team to make them a more vital player for the future.
