My Pick – Tyler Bertuzzi to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-120) at DraftKings

Potentially the highest-scoring game in the night will be the matchup between the New Jersey Devils going on the road to take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. Both New Jersey and Toronto possess great elite offenses, but their defenses could use some serious work to maintain stability. That is a nice way of saying they allow too many goals. 

This is going to be a matchup where Toronto, a team that is already locked up a playoff spot, could have some serious firepower going to the game. Off the top, it is usually smart to look at two star players for Toronto in center Auston Matthews and forward William Nylander, but the best bet isn't going to be either one of these players.

The player to watch out for in this game is Toronto forward Tyler Bertuzzi. He has already scored five points and five games played this April. In Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Devils, he scored two goals while accounting for an assist. Look for him to account for another huge performance for the Maple Leafs.

Detroit Red Wings vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

My Pick – Sidney Crosby to Account for Over 1.5 Points (+170) at DraftKings

This Thursday night is a critical night for both the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Both teams are looking to advance themselves into the final wild-card spot for the Eastern Conference playoffs. One way to do that is to knock each other off this Thursday night as the Penguins host the Red Wings. 

The penguins have researched themselves after trading away their previous star in forward Jake Guentzel to the Carolina Hurricanes. One player who has helped lead that surge is future Hall of Famer and center Sidney Crosby. There's a great possibility that Crosby can lead another great charge for the Penguins and get themselves into a better playoff position. 

The Red Wings are one of the least efficient units defensively in the NHL. They rank 24th in the league in goals allowed per game (3.27).
