This Monday night is going to have a great selection of games in the NHL that will be solid betting opportunities for players to earn some significant earnings. Kicking off Monday's slate of games are the Boston Bruins (13-1-2) at the Tampa Bay Lightning (8-6-4). The Bruins have been the most consistent team in the entire NHL as they have rarely shown weakness on either side of the ice. The Lightning isn’t as electric to start the season as their previous seasons. This game will be the first matchup of the season between the two Atlantic Division teams.
The Bruins started the season winning their first six games before losing their first game to the Anaheim Ducks 4-3 in overtime on October 26. The Bruins have won four of their last six games with the losses being by one score. Their last two wins have been 5-2 scores at the Buffalo Sabres and at home to the Montreal Canadiens.
Boston's offense has been consistent throughout the season as they have ranked 11th in the league in goals per game (3.44). It has been their defense that has been the key success of their season as they are the top-ranked scoring defense in the league (2.00 goals allowed per game).
Tampa Bay has had a tough stretch throughout the season. They have established some big wins this season against the middle of the pack in the NHL. The Lightning, however, have rarely had the opportunities to take down some of the better teams in the NHL. Tampa Bay is 2-3 in their last five games as they endured tough losses 5-3 to Chicago, 4-0 to Carolina and 5-0 at St. Louis before defeating Chicago 4-2 on the road and Edmonton 6-4.
While Tampa Bay's offense has been efficient this season (10th in goals per game), its defense is a huge reason they have lost big games. The Lightning are ranked 27th in goals allowed per game (3.61).
The Bruins are not big favorites going into this easily winnable game, which should create some solid significant earnings.

The biggest game of the night for the entire NHL is set for a big defensive matchup as the New York Rangers (12-2-1) go on the road to take on the Dallas Stars (11-4-1). This game is projected to be the lowest-scored game on Monday’s slate of NHL games.
The Rangers are playing excellent on both sides of the ice this season. During the eight-game win streak from October 21 to November 2, the Rangers have allowed only 1.3 goals per game. Starting with the 5-4 shootout loss at the Minnesota Wild, the Rangers’ offensive intensity picked as they have been averaging 4.4 goals per game. The team has seen a rise in production by a committee of five players.
The Dallas Stars haven’t been easy to face this season. They have five losses this season, regular periods or overtime, with all five of them being at the top of the league. Their losses to Vegas, Toronto, Vancouver, Boston, and Colorado are not disappointing, but the Stars are hungry for a big win against an elite team by defeating the Rangers in a statement game.
This is going to be a battle for both offenses this season as the Rangers and Stars possess two elite defenses. New York ranks second in the league in goals allowed per game (2.2), while the Stars are 10th in goals allowed per game (2.75).
Within the past few games, the Stars and the Rangers have been more aggressive on offense. Ten players for Dallas have accumulated six points in nine or eight games played in November. Center Matt Duchene has accounted for 11 points with five of them being goals.
The Stars have seen their intensity rise on both sides of the ice and they will have the home-court advantage.

The final game of the night on Monday’s slate of games is set for a Pacific Divisional matchup between the Calgary Flames (6-8-3) at the Seattle Kraken (7-8-4). This game tonight will be the second matchup of the series between these two teams this season. Both the Flames and the Kraken are coming into this game with some solid momentum and a set of wins after starting their respective seasons with multiple difficult losses.
Calgary has won four of their last seven games after starting the season with an overall record of 2-7-1. The Flames started their streak with a 6-3 win at the Seattle Kraken on November 4. They have won two of their last three games, including a 5-2 win at home over the Vancouver Canucks. The Flames are coming off a 5-4 shootout loss to the New York Islanders this past Saturday.
Much like the Flames, the Kraken started the season in a rough shape, especially on the defensive side of the ice. One aspect of the Kraken’s defense that has been criticized is their defensive intensity. While the Kraken are still trying to find themselves on defense; their offensive efficiency has picked up. They are 3-3 in their six games with a 4-3 win at Colorado and finally, a 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders and a 4-3 road win over Vancouver in their last two games.
The Kraken are looking to redeem themselves from the 6-3 loss to the Flame earlier in the month. The last two goals for the Flames came when they went no goalie for more offensive players. Offensively, the Kraken know they have to be more aggressive than in the previous matchup. That is something Seattle has been doing within the last six games as that could be the key difference tonight.
