There could have been no games played this Thursday night, but the Boston Bruins failed to secure a win in overtime at home versus the Toronto Maple Leafs. As a result, Toronto now host Boston in a huge matchup that could ultimately decide the series regardless of game seven. The maple leaves in the Bruins have been neck and neck through this series despite Boston holding a 3-2 series lead. This will also be a game with the closest odds yet this postseason of any series. Time: 8:00 PM E.T. - Thursday
Moneyline: Bruins (-105) | Maple Leafs (-115)

The highly anticipated round one match-up between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs is set to continue into Thursday night and potentially into a seven full game series. Boston came in with the expectation to dominate on the defensive side of the ice. While they have done so, it is unexpected that the Maple leaves have matched that intensity.
The Bruins, who have averaged 3.21 goals per game, has been among the most consistent and talented offenses in the league. The Maple Leaves entered this series with the second-rate scoring unit in the league as they averaged 3.63 goals per game.
The biggest battle before the start of the series was the Maple Leafs' offense versus the Bruins' defense, which ranks 5th and the league and goals allowed per game (2.7). Through five games of the series, the Bruins' defense has delivered by holding Toronto to 9 total goals, or an average of 1.8 goals per game.
The biggest surprise of the series has been the efficiency of the Maple Leaf defense, which was the worst unit coming into the series. Toronto held an impressive Boston offense to only one goal in Tuesday night's 2-1 win in overtime at Boston.
The serious now takes a significant shift to Toronto as the Maple Leaves have the momentum, the reliable Stars, and the capable offense ready to explode. The Maple Leaves I found themselves to be winning games with low scores, something they have not been accustomed to that much in the regular season but are showing it now at the right time. With the game heading into a home game, Toronto might easily make this a seven-game series.
