The final weekday night in the NHL brings several matchups that will help determine the state of some of the top elite teams in the NHL. It has been a surprising postseason so far for most of the teams. In the Eastern Conference, some of the elite teams have been dominating and are on a 2-0 or 3-0 series lead. While in the Western Conference, several of the top teams have been considered disappointments. Many of these games and factors make a great game line that's through sportsbooks such as DraftKings.

One series this postseason that has been dominated by the favorite is the series between the New York Rangers (55-23-4), the top-seed in the Eastern Conference, versus the Washington Capitals (40-31-11), the bottom-seed of the East. While the games haven’t been easy for the Rangers, they have found ways to win in significant fashion.
The Rangers won game one of the series with a dominating 4-1 score thanks to a three-score run through the second period. This was the game where the role players and the star-studded defense led the charge.
On Tuesday night, the Rangers defeated the Capitals with a 4-3 score as they found two goals each in the first and second periods. This was the game where the stars like center Mika Zibanejad and center Vincent Trocheck had stellar performances as they each accounted for one goal and an assist.
The series now takes an interesting turn as the Rangers now go on the road for two games to take on the capitals. The Rangers have the chance to take the series in the final two games on the road. The Capitals have attempted to still a game or two, but their offense has been less than efficient.
This has been a series where the Rangers have been able to barely keep their foot on the gas to stall a limited Capitals team without speed or explosiveness to their better minimum. Look for the Rangers to make more of a statement in this game on the road.

The Western Conference central divisional series playoff matchup between the Colorado Avalanche versus the Winnipeg Jets now transitions to a new setting in Colorado for two games. These two divisional rivals have encountered high-scoring performances in the last several games. This game does not look to be anything different in terms of the scoring.
In the past four games, including the postseason, both The Jets and the Avalanche have eclipsed more than six goals. And the three previous games before that the two teams combined for at least six points.
In the first matchup of this series, The Jets took a 7-6 home win. The defense of the Avalanche played well as they only allowed 23 shots, but their goalie in Alexander Georgiev played horribly as he allowed seven goals.
The Avalanche were able to bounce back after that disastrous loss with a 5-2 win in game two. After a 1-0 run from The Jets in the first period, the avalanche outscored The Jets 4-1 in the second. Multiple players for Colorado got into the game as only one player for Colorado accounted for more than two points.
That game 2 was the first win for Colorado since the end of last year's regular season. This was a big bounce back for the Avalanche as they need to get back into the series before going into the next two games at home with a two-game series deficit.
Regardless of the outcomes, this series has potential to be high-scoring as both The Jets and the Avalanche know what it takes to score consistently throughout the entire game against each other.
