Potentially the biggest game of the night from a playoff implication standout and from a rivalry perspective is the Battle of New York. The New York Rangers (53-21-4) go on the road to take on the New York Islanders (32-25-15) in a game where the Islanders need an advantage in the race for the final Metropolitan Divisional spot or the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Islanders are currently in third place of the Metropolitan Division, which is a spot that constantly shuffles between them, the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins these past few weeks. One game ultimately makes an impact. The Rangers, on the other hand, are at the top of the Metropolitan Division and have accounted the most points of all teams in the NHL.
This game tonight will be the third matchup of the season between these two New York teams. There will be one more game between these two teams in four days. The Rangers have both previous matchups this season with the most recent being a 5-2 win for the Rangers on March 17.
The Rangers have a significant advantage on both sides of the ice over their New York rival. The Rangers are ranked sixth in the league in goals per game (3.45) and seventh in goals allowed per game (2.77). The Islanders, on the other hand, are ranked 23rd in goals per game (2.95) and 21st in goals allowed per game (3.21).
Look for the Rangers to get another big win in this rivalry and create more chaos in the Eastern Conference playoff chase.
Time: 7:00 PM E.T. - Tuesday
Moneyline: Hurricanes (-115) | Bruins (-105)
Puck Line: Hurricanes -1.5 (+220) | Bruins +1.5 (-270)
Total: Over 5.5 (-108) | Under 5.5 (-112)

One of the biggest, if not the biggest, matchups of the night will be going down in the Eastern Conference. The Carolina Hurricanes (49-22-7) will go on the road to take on the Boston Bruins (46-17-15) for a matchup that might only possess bragging rights implications with both teams securing their spots in the playoffs.
This game tonight will be the third and final matchup between these two Eastern Conference elites. Boston and Carolina have both claimed a game in this series on the road with the Bruins taking the 4-1 road victory on April 1.
Carolina has won four of its last five games with the only loss coming at the hands of Boston. In those four wins, the offense and the defense of the Hurricanes have been incredibly efficient and dominant outscoring their opponents 17-2. There are also games where the newly stacked Hurricanes team looks uninspired or mentally overmatched with the loss to Boston and the 4-1 road loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins before the 4-1 run.
The Bruins have had a rough run through certain parts of the second half of the season, but they have shown they can recover. Boston has won four consecutive games against playoff-caliber teams, including Carolina and the 3-2 overtime win over the Florida Panthers.
The Hurricanes and the Bruins rank in the top ten on both sides of the ice. The biggest key of the game is which team will play up to the moment. While Carolina has the players and experience to win these games, they have yet to show they are fully capable of knocking elite teams night in and night out. Boston, on the other hand, is more than equipment and experienced in this area.
Time: 7:00 PM E.T. - Tuesday
Moneyline: Kings (-258) | Ducks (+230)
Puck Line: Kings -1.5 (-110) | Ducks +1.5 (-110)
Total: Over 5.5 (-118) | Under 5.5 (-102)
The final game of the night to place a great bet isn’t going to come from a game line. One of the top bets to make coming from the Western Conference is the Pacific Divisional matchup between the Los Angeles Kings (41-25-11) going on the road to take on the Anaheim Ducks (25-48-5).
The Kings are coming in as huge favorite the Ducks, one of the worst teams in the league. While the game line is large, the puck line for the Kings to win by 1.5 goals is surprisingly low, which makes for a great bet.
This game tonight will be the third matchup of the season between the Kings and the Ducks with the last coming in four days. Los Angeles defeated Anaheim 5-2 on November 24 to claim the first game. Three months later, the Kings had to squeezer out a 3-2 shootout win that was sandwiched in-between three losses.
The Kings are coming into this game with much more stability as they have won three consecutive games. Their most recent win was a 6-3 home win over the Vancouver Canucks this past Saturday. The Ducks have lost seven of their last eight game played as their offense and defense is playing at a terrible level.
Anaheim is ranked 30th in the league in goals per game (2.46) while their defense is allowing an average of 3.62 goals per game, which is 31st in the league (second to worst). This is a game that the Kings should take without a problem.
