Week two of an already chaotic 2023 NFL Season is set to kick off on Thursday Night Football as the Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) host the Minnesota Vikings (0-1).
The Eagles are looking to redeem themselves from a close win over the New England Patriots. The Vikings, on the other hand, are looking to get their first win of the season after losing at home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
This first game of the new week will possess serious NFC playoff implications as both teams have talented offenses, but especially in the receiver corps. This game is among the many great opportunities to make a bet on the game or on an area from the players or scores for significant earnings.

The Eagles come into the 2023 NFL Season with one of the most developed rosters in the league. Last season, the Eagles averaged 28.1 points per game, which was second in the league. They also had the eighth-best scoring defense in the league (22.2 points allowed per game).
They had one of the best wide receiver duos in the league with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. They combined for 183 receptions for 2,692 yards and 18 touchdowns last season. The two high-caliber receivers helped progress dual-threat quarterback Jalen Hurts into a serious NFL MVP candidate.
Hurts completed 306-of-460 of his passes for 22 touchdowns, only six interceptions, and a quarterback rating of 101.5. As a rusher, he rushed for 760 yards and a team-high 13 touchdowns on 165 rushing attempts.
The Eagles had a tough week one performance as they survived a late comeback attempt from the New England Patriots to win 25-20. Offensively, the Eagles accumulated only 251 yards and 17 first downs against a potentially great defense of the Patriots. The Eagles' defense needed the Patriots to turn the ball over twice and account for 10 pass breakups, seven quarterback hits, and five tackles for loss to halt the comeback.
Minnesota's defense allowed only 242 total yards from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with only 73 of them coming from the rushing game. Outside linebacker, Danielle Hunter was a key playmaker who accounted for seven total tackles, four solo tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one quarterback hit, and a pass breakup.
The Vikings' new receiver duo in Justin Jefferson and rookie Jordan Addison had a solid first regular season together. Jefferson and Addison combined for 13 receptions for 211 yards and a touchdown. While quarterback Kirk Cousins did a solid job of getting the ball to Jefferson, Addison, and tight end T.J. Hockenson, he turned the ball over three times with two of them being fumbles.
Last week, Alexander Mattisonn had a rough first game as the new starting running back for the Minnesota Vikings. Mattison rushed for 34 yards on 11 carries. This week, Mattison will have to face an Eagles' interior defensive line that is composed of former Georgia star defensive tackles Jordan Davis and rookie Jalen Carter. The Eagles are expected to be one of the best-rushing defenses with these two players alone. It could be another tough game for Mattison, who will have to contribute as a pass-catcher in order to help the offense.
One of the best receivers in the league in Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown could have his first 100-yard receiving game this season. Brown and the Eagles are a Minnesota Vikings' defense that was ranked second-worst in the NFL last season in passing yards allowed per game (265.6). While the Vikings made serious improvements to the secondary, Brown is at an All-Pro caliber level, which will be too much for Minnesota.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense had a tough week one performance against the defense of the New England Patriots. They will look to come out more explosive when they play their first home game of the season. Look for the first score to be a potential RPO run from Jalen Hurts.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Minnesota Vikings 33-14
