The 49ers are road favorites against a Seahawks team with great quarterback play this season from Geno Smith.
However, the 49ers defense has been incredibly potent this season, including allowing a league-low 75 rushing yards per game.
A big part of the Seahawks offense is rookie running back Kenneth Walker III, and Smith also gets out and runs a bit.
At receiver, they have two talented players in Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf, but the 49ers have a top cornerback in the league in Charvarius Ward. Opposite Ward is Deommodore Lenoir, who’s allowing a lot of receptions, but has never allowed a touchdown.
Further, the Seahawks offensive line will struggle against the 49ers pass rush consisting of edge rusher Nick Bosa, Samson Ebukam, and linebackers Dre Greenlaw, Fred Warner, and more.
There’s too much for the Seahawks to overcome here, even at home.
Without Deebo Samuel in the lineup at wide receiver, McCaffrey should see more opportunities out of the backfield and running the ball. He had well over 100 total yards last week and a touchdown against the Seahawks, who allow over 160 rushing yards per game; it is perfectly set up for him to find the end zone once again.
Like McCaffrey, we’re looking at Kittle here more due to the Samuel injury. Last week, Kittle tied Samuel for the most targets on the team with five. He had just 28 yards, but he’ll continue to be that dependable weapon for the rookie quarterback Brock Purdy.
Kittle will have a solid matchup against Seahawks linebacker Cody Barton who’s allowing 77.4% of targets his way to get caught and has also allowed two touchdowns.
Regarding targets, look for Kittle to lead the way in Week 15.
