Week 14 of the NFL season kicks off as the Las Vegas Raiders travel to take on the Los Angeles Rams.
However, the Raiders are familiar with Los Angeles, coming off a 27-20 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 13.

The total of 43.5 here is meant to signal how poor the Rams' offense is. While that may be true, they draw a Raiders defense this week that allows close to 260 passing yards per game, including allowing well over 300 to opposing quarterbacks the last two weeks.
Rams quarterback John Wolford isn’t exactly Geno Smith or Justin Herbert. Still, he does have weapons like Cam Akers out of the backfield, tight end Tyler Higbee, and decent deep threats in Tutu Atwell and Van Jefferson to utilize downfield.
Of course, though, most of these points will likely come from the Raiders. It’s a bit trepidatious considering how much they rely on just two players, running back Josh Jacobs and wide receiver Davante Adams. Still, you can’t deny how unstoppable they’ve been, averaging over 280 passing yards and 182 rushing yards per game over the last three weeks.
This one is pretty simple: He’s Carr’s No. 1 option against a team in the Rams that they should be able to control throughout.
On top of that, Adams has seven touchdowns over the last five games, with those coming in four of them.
Adams also has close to a 30% target share over the last three weeks.
So, yeah, Adams gets a ton of opportunities and is one of the main components of this offense.
Projecting touchdowns for the Rams seem to only come from one angle—running back Cam Akers. While this seems like the most stable projection considering his usage lately and two touchdowns last week, why not look at Wolford’s top target in his two starts this season which also has a great price?
That’s right, Higbee has seen 13 targets across Wolford’s two starts and has 10 receptions. He’s under 100 yards on those and hasn’t scored, but if the Rams find themselves in or near the endzone, this is where Wolford will be throwing the ball.
Sure, not all targets should be treated equally, but Higbee seems like the safest option for a receiving touchdown in a game that the Rams should be playing from behind in.
