Titans vs. Vikings Picks, Predictions & Player Props: Key Insights for a Must-Watch Matchup

  • Will Levis was sacked seven times in Week 10

  • Justin Jefferson has been targeted nine times in three straight games

  • The Titans allowed 145 rushing yards against LA last week

One of our favorite bets of the week comes from Sunday’s matchup between the Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings. The latter enters as a six-point road favorite but will be challenged by a Tennessee team that isn’t as bad as their record shows. That means there are some great bets on the board, which we will share below.

Titans vs. Vikings Predictions and Prop Bets

Titans vs. Vikings Predictions

The Titans offense looked solid against the Chargers in Week 10. Will Levis had one of the most efficient games of his career, while second-year running back Tyjae Spears averaged 6.7 YPC. LA has a very good defense, making those stats impressive despite scoring just 17 points.

Unfortunately, Tennessee won’t be able to build on that success this weekend. That is because of this vaunted Vikings blitz, which has been a nightmare for quarterbacks all season.

One of the primary reasons Levis was able to avoid turnovers and complete 78% of his passes was his decision to hold on to the ball longer. Instead of forcing bad passes when under pressure, Levis trusts his offensive line. Unfortunately, that also led him to take seven sacks last week.

The Titans' backfield has been impressive, but they will face a Minnesota defense allowing the second-fewest rushing yards per game (79.0). That will force the Titans to work through the air, where Levis will be under constant pressure.

We have significant concerns about the Vikings’ offense, but they won’t need to do much as the Titans struggle to score points.

Titans vs. Vikings - My Pick

The Titans' offense won’t be able to do anything against the Vikings' impressive defense. Minnesota’s run defense will negate their biggest strength, making scoring more than six points unlikely.

There are many points to give up on the road, but we don’t see any way for Tennessee to keep this game close.

Titans vs. Vikings Best Prop Bets

Will Levis Under 185.5 Pass Yards (-115) at Caesars Sportsbook

This is a low total, but Levis has only surpassed it in three of his six games this season. Even last week’s strong return to action resulted in just 175 yards. With DeAndre Hopkins gone, his weapons are limited and will be of little help against the Minnesota pass rush.

The constant pressure will give Levis two options: Take the sack or make a play. When he chose the latter, the results were disastrous. That will make it impossible for him to lead drives, leading to one of the ugliest stat lines of his career.

Justin Jefferson Over 79.5 Receiving Yards (-117) at Caesars Sportsbook

We don’t trust Sam Darnold, but there is no denying the quarterback is focused on getting Justin Jefferson the ball. He has seen nine targets in three consecutive games, going for over 100 yards in all but one.

Darnold’s focus on JJ is a problem for the offense, but defenses can only do so much to slow the receiver down. While the Titans have impressive numbers against the pass this season, much of that is due to teams taking a big lead and turning to the ground game.

Even with Darnold regressing, expect Jefferson to get himself open for several big plays on Sunday.

Aaron Jones Over 59.5 Rush Yards (-117) at Caesars Sportsbook

The Titans' run defense is their strength, but they have struggled over the last few weeks. They allowed the Chargers to rush for 145 yards, the Pats for 110, and the Lions for 164. Aaron Jones remains one of the best backs in the league when healthy and will easily surpass this total in Tennessee on Sunday.
