Week 8 of the NFL season kicks off tonight with the Buffalo Bills hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Below are our three best prop bets for tonight’s inter-conference showdown.
Davis has always been a bit hit-or-miss regarding his involvement with the Bills offense, and we think this game is a “miss.” Over his last two games, he has just four catches on seven targets for 27 yards. He had just one catch last week. He’s had three games this season with two receptions or less, and he’s facing an invigorated Buccaneers cornerback unit featuring Jamel Dean and Carlton Davis III. In his two most recent games, Dean has allowed eight catches for 38 yards, and Davis III has allowed just two catches in back-to-back games. Look for the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen to work Stefon Diggs and rookie tight end Dalton Kincaid into the offense more here.

This prop opened at 7.5 receptions but has been moved down to 6.5. While we’re losing some line value at -150, this is a wager you’ll want to smash.
Diggs has double-digit targets in all but two games this year and has finished with seven catches for more in all but two games.
Like Davis, he’s facing a feisty Buccaneers defense, but the volume in which he receives targets compensates greatly for that. He caught just six passes last week but also had his highest drop-rate percentage of the year at 14.3%.
Look for Diggs to dominate the targets here in what could be a close matchup.

When it comes to the Buccaneers offense, it’s truly a “co-headliner” at the receiver position between Mike Evans and Chris Godwin. They have 47 targets this year, and Godwin has just three more receptions. Evans leads in yards and also has four touchdowns to Godwin’s zero.
Against the Bills, Evans will see plenty of Christian Benford and Dane Jackson. Benford has allowed 16 receptions on 22 targets this year for 202 yards, while Jackson has allowed 12 receptions on 15 targets for 108 yards and a score. With so many injuries to the secondary, the Bills have been putting guys in and out of the lineup. Benford and Jackson rank fourth and sixth, respectively, regarding coverage snaps for the team.
They allow plenty of receptions, and against a play like Evans, who gets plenty of targets and is the go-to guy for a touchdown pass from Mayfield, look for Evans to find his way into the endzone in Buffalo.
