Minnesota started the season 5-0 but has lost two straight games
The Colts have benched Anthony Richardson after he got tired last week
Joe Flacco will start at quarterback for Indianapolis
The Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts have spiraled lately. Indianapolis is in a worse sport than Minnesota, but both teams are desperate for a victory.
Anthony Richardson, the Colts' starting quarterback, threw out last week’s game because he was tired. This is why Shane Steichen elected to start Joe Flacco on Sunday night.
Flacco gives the Vikings a better chance to win than Richardson, so this was the best move for the quarterback. On the other hand, Minnesota has a starting quarterback, but they have lost two straight games to NFC contenders.
We’re prioritizing props in this contest, as neither team has been very consistent the last couple of weeks.

Sam Darnold was expected to be in the MVP race through the first few weeks of the season, but the tide has turned. Based on the past couple of weeks, Darnold isn’t a player who will win games late for his team.
Darnold is 18th in passing yards with 1,610 and has the 13th-best QBR in the NFL. The Vikings are happy with his play, and he has benefited from a great defense this season.
Despite this, we trust Darnold to go over his passing line of 247.5 yards on Sunday Night Football. Darnold has fallen short of this line in two of the past four weeks, but he has an advantage over the Colts defense.
Indianapolis has been terrible against the best this season. According to Cold, Hard Football Facts, they rank 23rd in Defensive Passer Rating and 24th in Total Team Yards Allowed.
If the Colts can score some points with Flacco at quarterback, it will force Darnold to take to the air. If Darnold gets his attempts, he should easily surpass this number.

If the Vikings want to be the NFC Champions, they must lean on Justin Jefferson. Jefferson is the best receiver in the NFL.
He has caught 41 passes for 646 yards and five touchdowns. Jefferson averages 15.8 yards per reception, which shows how explosive a threat he is down the field.
Jefferson is coming off an eight-catch performance for 115 yards. Jefferson was silenced in the second half against Los Angeles last Thursday, but he should play a complete game here.
He has gone over this line in three of his past four games and should be a primary target for Darnold down the field on Sunday.
Indianapolis ranks 22nd in Defensive Real Passing Yards/Attempt, so they allow explosive plays. This is where Jefferson enters the equation.

Aaron Jones has been a fantastic running back all season. He has carried the ball 104 times for 501 yards with two touchdowns this season.
Jones defines consistency, but we haven’t seen the ceiling raised in two of the past three weeks. Jones’ rushing line is set at 70.5, and we believe he will go under this line.
He has missed the number in two of the past three weeks. The Colts are seventh in Defensive Rusher Rating, so we believe the Vikings will choose to pass the ball.
