The Minnesota Vikings will host the Indianapolis Colts for a cross-conference battle on Sunday Night Football to help close out NFL Week 9.

The Colts made the controversial decision to bench Anthony Richardson for Joe Flacco earlier in the week, while the Vikings are focused on climbing in Super Bowl odds following back-to-back losses. Here, we will share our favorite Colts vs. Vikings player props and betting picks.

Best NFL SNF Picks Week 9

Joe Flacco Over 233.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Flacco is a gunslinger through and through. He split the over/under at one apiece in two starts, going for 359 yards in one and 189 in the other. He also averaged 323.2 passing yards per game with the Cleveland Browns last year.

The Vikings have a strong defense, but they allowed 279 yards to Matthew Stafford and 280 to Jared Goff during their two most recent games. Shane Steichen is a great offensive coach and will put Flacco and the other Colts players in positions to succeed.

Jordan Addison Under 39.5 Receiving Yards (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Addison does not appear to be happy with his situation in Minnesota, as evidenced by his social media activity. He also has not produced on the field as he failed to catch more than three passes in a game and went under this line in three of five outings.

Sam Darnold has played well and gotten the ball to most of his playmakers, but not Addison. The former Biletnikoff Award winner has only gotten more than four targets in a game once and doesn’t look to be on a productive path moving forward.

Josh Downs Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+175) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Flacco threw seven touchdown passes in three games thus far. Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs both caught two of those, while Drew Ogletree, Mo Allie-Cox, and Alec Pierce came down with the remaining three.

Downs often appeared to have the best connection of all of the Colts receivers with the 39-year-old and reigning Comeback Player of the Year. He ranks very well in advanced metrics such as separation scores and gets to take on a defense that allowed 30.5 average points during the last two weeks.

Colts +5.5 (-110) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Moves such as quarterback changes can catalyze a team. The Colts are 4-4 and in contention for the playoffs, and bringing Flacco back into the fold could be the domino that sends the Colts on a run to the postseason and, if the Texans continue to falter, challenge for an AFC South title.

Flacco played very well whenever he was given the chance to, throwing for seven TDs and one interception and achieving a QBR of 73.1, which would rank fifth among all quarterbacks if qualified. The Vikings’ defense did not perform the last couple of weeks, and Darnold’s performances started to decline.
