  • Davante Adams is expected to make his Jets debut

  • The Steelers are poised to give Russell Wilson his first start of the season

  • Pittsburgh is 4-2 against the spread, while NY is 2-4

NFL Week 7 promises to be another great week of football. But before the weekend wraps up, the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the New York Jets for an AFC primetime showdown on Sunday Night Football.

The Jets’ recent trade for Davante Adams did not affect their Super Bowl odds, but it does lead to reconsideration for our best spread bets and player props for the weekend—especially with Russell Wilson poised for his first start of the season.

Here are our favorite Steelers vs. Jets bets for Sunday Night Football in Week 7, with offs from BetMGM Sportsbook. Place your bets at BetMGM and get up to $1,500 in bonus bets.*

Aaron Rodgers Over 226.5 Passing Yards (-115) at BetMGM

Rodgers roared over this total last week en route to 294 yards and has now gone over in three of his last four games. The only miss was a game in which he threw for 225 yards, or two yards fewer than he needed to cash this pick.

The Jets threw the ball 35 times and only ran it 21 times in their first game with a new offensive play-caller last week. The arrival of Davante Adams should also incentivize them to throw it against a Steelers defense that held opponents under 209 passing yards per game, but that hasn’t faced many good quarterbacks.

Najee Harris Under 55.5 Rushing Yards (-120) at BetMGM

Harris is coming off of a great game during which he eclipsed 100 yards for the first time this season. The 26-year-old ran the ball 14 times for 106 yards and a touchdown, bringing him to 4-2 in favor of the over at this line.

Despite Harris’ strong outing, he’ll have to compete for carries with Jaylen Warren. The Steelers’ backup back only got six carries last week but should get more touches now that he’s another week removed from his injury. The Jets also hold teams to the ninth-fewest rushing yards per attempt.

Garrett Wilson Over 55.5 Receiving Yards (-110) at BetMGM

All of the buzz surrounding the Jets pertains to the arrival of Adams and his reunion with Rodgers. What hasn’t been spoken about is the impact that will have on Wilson, who just recorded back-to-back 100-yard receiving games.

Adams’ presence outside will force teams to take away additional coverage from Wilson and will leave him one-on-one with the nearest defender. That said, Adams won’t be able to learn the full playbook in less than a week, so Wilson should still get a healthy target share.

Jets ML (-135) at BetMGM

The Steelers are a goal-line stand away from being 5-1, yet they’re pivoting from Justin Fields to Russell Wilson at quarterback. That’s a recipe for failure considering that Wilson hasn’t played since December 24, 2023, and has been dealing with a nagging injury since training camp.

For the Steelers to win, Wilson is going to need to exhibit no signs of rust against a Jets defense that holds teams to the seventh-fewest yards per game. This is also the first time all season the Jets have a real reason to be excited, and that should propel them to a win.
