  • The Bengals are only 1-4 and are -172 to miss the playoffs

  • Daniel Jones played his best game of the season without Malik Nabers last week

  • Joe Burrow is playing at arguably the highest level of any quarterback in the NFL

The New York Giants will welcome the Cincinnati Bengals to the Big Apple as both teams look to keep their playoff hopes alive on Sunday Night Football in Week 6.

The Bengals are just 1-4 with -172 odds to miss the playoffs despite Joe Burrow playing some of the best football in the league over the last month (301.5 passing yards per game, 12 touchdowns, two interceptions).

The Giants, meanwhile, picked up their second win of the season by upsetting the Seattle Seahawks 29-20 on the road and without star rookie receiver Malik Nabers.

Here, we will analyze the betting odds and share our best Giants vs. Bengals betting picks.

Bengals -3.5 (-110) at BetMGM

The Bengals QB’s electric play has not been enough to overcome a defense that gave up the second-most points per game (29.0) in the league and that ranks 30th in EPA per play. The Giants are coming off their third straight game holding opponents to 20 points or less, but they don’t have the same offensive consistency as Cincy and aren’t in as desperate of a situation.

Malik Nabers and edge-rushers Kayvon Thibodeaux and Brian Burns are all questionable for this matchup. Jones is also prone to regressing after solid games, while Burrow is red-hot and desperate for a win.

Joe Burrow Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-150) at BetMGM

We’ve said it enough, but Burrow is cooking with grease. He went over this line in four straight games and just threw for a career-high five touchdowns against the Ravens.

The Giants allowed the fourth-highest completion percentage to opposing quarterbacks, which is a positive sign for all pro-Burrow props. They also gave up 1.4 passing touchdowns per game while playing a schedule that included Sam Darnold, Jayden Daniels, Deshaun Watson, Dak Prescott, and Geno Smith, all of whom Burrow has a reasonable case of being better than.

Ja’Marr Chase Over 5.5 Receptions (-120) at BetMGM

Chase caught 10 balls for 193 yards and two touchdowns in last week’s thriller against the Ravens. That was his third time going over in five games, and it was obvious that the Bengals had emphasized putting the ball in his hands.

The Giants’ inability to force incompletions means that the Bengals receivers will have an easier time coming up with receptions. NY also moved the ball well in its last game and could force Cincy to continue passing the ball rather than call a passive game down the stretch.

Tyrone Tracy 75+ Rushing Yards (+140) at BetMGM

This pick is contingent upon Devin Singletary being ruled out of the contest. But if Singletary is in, we’d still consider the over on Tracy’s regular line.

The 24-year-old rookie took 18 carries for 129 yards (7.2 yards per carry) in his first start against what had been a stout Seattle Seahawks front last week. He now gets to square off with a Bengals D that could be down defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and that is 19th in rushing yards allowed per attempt (4.6) and 30th in rushing yards allowed per game (151.4).
