The Chiefs beat the Chargers 17-10 earlier this season
Kansas City allowed the Raiders’ backfield to average 4.6 YPC last week
Isiah Pacheco will be playing in his second game since returning from the IR
This week’s edition of Sunday Night Football features two AFC West rivals. The Los Angeles Chargers will head to Arrowhead to square off against the Kansas City Chiefs. While another division title seems all but certain for the Chiefs, the Chargers will have a chance to knock the Chiefs out of the top spot in the AFC.
If you are looking to wager on this Sunday Night Football matchup between the Chiefs and Chargers, we have you covered! Below, we’ll share our favorite Same Game Parlay for this matchup. The Chargers lost 17-10 at home against the Chiefs earlier this season but will get payback on Sunday. While they’ll be on the road, they will face a very different Chiefs team.
Kansas City’s last six games have been decided by one score. They have gotten lucky as bad teams continue to shoot themselves in the foot, giving the Chiefs just enough of an opening to win. That luck can’t keep up forever, and we see it running out on Sunday.
The Chiefs’ offense has also been struggling. Patrick Mahomes has been fantastic, but the offensive line and receiving corps have both regressed. That will be a significant problem against a very good Chargers defense.

The Chiefs’ run defense has been trending in the wrong direction lately. Last week may have been their worst game, allowing the Raiders to rush for 116 yards on 25 carries (4.6 YPC). The Raiders' run blocking has been awful all season, and the team was without its top two runningbacks. That is a major red flag heading into a matchup against a banged-up Chargers backfield.
Edwards has taken over as the lead back after an injury to JK Dobbins. While he is still settling into the new role, we know how explosive he can be. The 29-year-old averaged 5+ YPC in his first five seasons. That dropped to 4.1 YPC last season, but the back was still effective as he replaced an injured Dobbins in Baltimore.

Pacheco returned last week after missing over two months with an injury. He was limited to seven carries but broke one out for 34 yards. The young back will see more carries against the Chargers this week, and we think he gets a lot of work in the red zone.
