Closing out the Sunday slate of Week 12 of the NFL season that also featured Thanksgiving Day games are the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.
The Packers are coming off a loss at home against the Tennessee Titans, and the Eagles narrowly escaped with a win against the Indianapolis Colts.

Now, let’s dive into the Eagles and Packers.
The Packers have been a tough team to key in on this season. They beat the Dallas Cowboys but lost to the Tennessee Titans. They scored nine points against the Detroit Lions. They scored 10 points against the New York Jets.
Now, on the road against the Eagles, they face a 9-1 team that’s running away with the NFC.
The Eagles have placed tight end Dallas Goedert and cornerback Avonte Maddox on injured reserve, weakening their passing game and secondary.
Despite bringing in defensive linemen Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh, the Colts could still get some yards on the ground. However, the average was less than four per carry.
The Packers have two running backs, Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon, that should plan on seeing plenty of work.
The Packers also have a receiver group that isn’t fantastic. Still, Christian Watson has really begun to emerge, catching five touchdowns in his last two games.
At less than a touchdown, the Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers should be able to stay within a touchdown with the rushing attack, having some variety on offense, and with the Eagles losing a key offensive playmaker.
With Goedert on injured reserve and the Packers looking to run the ball with authority here, this game has the makings of going under.
Against the Titans a week ago, they and the Packers combined for just 44 points. The Titans had a beatable secondary, and the Packers struggled to put up points. That could’ve been the quick turnaround from Sunday to Thursday, but it’s hard to tell.
The Eagles still have a great defense, especially their pass rush, and while the Packers may be able to get some yards on the ground, it could be a slow burn. As mentioned, Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had more than 20 carries and had less than four yards per carry.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts will also run in this one, as well as running back Miles Sanders.
After scoring just 17 a week ago, the Eagles should be able to get over the three-touchdown mark here at home.
Missing Goedert is a big part of the offense, but between the dynamic rushing game, their receivers out-manning the Packers' cornerbacks, and the Packers' pass rush that is missing their best player in Rashan Gary, the Eagles' biggest opponent for scoring could be the clock.
