The Eagles have won six straight games coming into this week
Saquon Barkley is averaging 5.8 YPC this season
Jalen Hurts has been limited in practice with an ankle injury
The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to extend their six-game winning streak against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football. To do so, they will need to find a way to overcome a slew of injuries to fend off a Rams team that is finally getting healthy. LA will have motivation of their own as they hope to stay in a close NFC West race, setting the stage for an exciting game.

The Eagles have been incredible over the last six weeks. That is primarily thanks to the defense, which is playing at an elite level. Their young secondary has been especially great against the pass, allowing the second-fewest yards per game through the air. The unit also ranks fourth in opposing passer rating (78.9) and fifth in completion percentage (61.5).
The Rams offense never looked quite right against the Patriots on Sunday. The final numbers were solid, but they struggled more than they should have against New England’s terrible defense. While they will be at home on Sunday, it won’t make a difference against the hottest defenses in football.

Saquon Barkley has been electric for the Eagles this season. He has the second-most rushing yards (1,137) and a fantastic 5.8 YPC average. He was great once again last week, finishing the game with 146 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries (5.6 YPC). LA’s run defense ranks in the bottom of the league, and their defensive front will struggle against the Eagles' offensive line.
Barkley should see an uptick in carries with Jalen Hurts, who is dealing with an ankle injury. That will give him plenty of chances to surpass this considerable total, finishing with another 100+ yard performance.

As mentioned above, Jalen Hurts is working through an ankle injury. He will play on Sunday but was limited in practice. His ability to run helps this team, but Philly also has one of the league’s top running backs. Expect Saquon Barkley to handle more carries, allowing the Eagles to better protect the quarterback from worsening the injury.
The Eagles may also be without receiver DeVonta Smith, who is questionable to play on Sunday. With the star receiver either hampered or out, count on Philly to further lean on their incredible run game.
