Ravens vs. Bills Picks Divisional Round

The top two MVP favorites, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, will go to war on Sunday night as the Baltimore Ravens visit the Buffalo Bills in the NFL divisional playoffs.

Baltimore’s unflappable offense will juxtapose the one-man band that is Allen, while two physical defenses will have to contend with some of the best offensive talents in the league in an estimated 16 degrees at kick-off.

The spread line for this game is just one point, which shows how even this matchup truly is. But we’ve got our eyes on a few players who will make the biggest impact in the matchup with these Ravens vs. Bills player props.

Derrick Henry Under 19.5 Rush Attempts (-115) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Conventional wisdom would suggest that this is the perfect game for Henry to run at least 25 times to soften up the defense in the brutally cold weather. That’s not even considering he went over this line in four straight games and carried the ball 26 times for 186 yards and two touchdowns last weekend.

The problem with all of that is the Ravens have a tendency to put the ball almost exclusively in Jackson’s hands when the stakes are raised. Henry only got 13 carries in Baltimore’s biggest game of the year against the Chiefs, and Ravens running backs only totaled six carries in last year’s divisional-round loss, also to the Chiefs.

Josh Allen Over 235.5 Passing Yards (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Allen probably has the strongest arm in the league and is as used to playing in the cold as anyone, so he should be able to cut through the elements. He had 272 yards passing last week and will inevitably be asked to throw the ball if Baltimore finds any sort of offensive success.

The Ravens’ secondary showed a ton of improvement down the stretch but was still poor for more than the first half of the season. Buffalo has found ways to consistently get guys open downfield, and Allen beat this line in games against the Lions, Los Angeles Rams, and Chiefs.

Lamar Jackson Over 52.5 Rushing Yards (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The two-time MVP ran 15 times for 81 yards in the Wild Card and has now gone over this line in three straight games, and in five of his last six. As we mentioned the Ravens also have a tendency to put the ball in his hands even more than they normally would in marquee matchups.

The Bills did a nice job limiting quarterback runs but also didn’t face many dual-threat QBs. They just gave up 43 rushing yards in only four carries to Bo Nix, and we like Jackson’s chances.

James Cook Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+105) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Cook tied for the NFL lead with 16 rushing touchdowns during the regular season and scampered for 120 yards and a touchdown in the Wild Card. He’s now scored at least once in 13 of 17 games and is clearly in the good graces of Allen and offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

The Ravens’ defense has been stout against the run, but the conditions of this game combined with Buffalo’s effectiveness in the red zone still make the juice worth the squeeze.
