DK Metcalf and Kenneth Walker III are both questionable to play
James Cook and Josh Allen have a combined 528 rush yards
Josh Allen is averaging 211.9 passing yards
The AFC East leading Buffalo Bills will be heading across the country to visit the NFC West leading Seattle Seahawks. These division leaders have a ton of talent, but Seattle could be missing two of their top offensive playmakers, making this one of the most intriguing games of the weekend.

Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Seattle Seahawks | +3(-115) | +135 | Over 47 (-110) |
Buffalo Bills | -3 (-105) | -160 | Under 47 (-110) |
The Seahawks will have a rough day against the Bills. One big reason for that is top receiver DK Metcalf, who is listed as questionable with an MCL injury. While the team doesn’t believe it to be a long-term injury, they have held him out of practice during the week and will evaluate him on Friday. That means he is unlikely to play and will be severely limited if he does.
Metcalf is the linchpin of the Seattle passing game, so his injury will have a massive effect on the passing game. That is terrible news, considering the run game is averaging just 97.4 yards per game. Things won’t improve if Kenneth Walker III (illness) can’t suit up on Sunday.
Speaking of the run game, Seattle’s defense ranks twenty-eighth in rushing yards allowed per game. That is good news for James Cook and Josh Allen, who have a combined 528 yards and eight touchdowns. We expect the run game to open up even more with Amari Cooper in the lineup, giving the Buffalo pass game a significant upgrade.
The Bills have more talent on both sides of the ball, and it will show on Sunday. With Walker and Metcalf in danger of missing the game, this game will likely get ugly fast. While playing on the road in Seattle is always tricky, a quick lead will help the Bills take the crowd out of the game.

Cook is going to have a favorable matchup tonight, and it will lead to his best game of the season. Given Seattle's talent in the secondary, expect Buffalo to exploit their struggles against the run and keep the ball on the ground. That will get him a lot of touches, leading to a bounce-back game after Week 7’s poor performance.

Even if DK Metcalf can play on Sunday, he will not be anywhere close to the elite playmaker he is when healthy. That will lead Geno Smith to spread the ball out more, which is good news for Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The second-year receiver has taken a significant step forward this season. He will find a lot of room to work on Sunday as the Bills defense focuses on stopping Tyler Lockett. Considering that Geno Smith is averaging 283.6 passing yards per game, expect the 22-year-old pass catcher to easily surpass this total.

The Seahawks' secondary is tough and will challenge a Bills’ receiving corps that lacks depth. The result will be Buffalo running the ball a lot, which has been the plan most weeks of the season. Combine that with the fact that Josh Allen is averaging 211.9 passing yards per game, and you have a recipe for an easy cover on this one.
