Rams vs. Eagles Picks, Predictions & Player Props: A Defensive Battle Takes Place in Philadelphia

Published January 18, 2025
6 min read
  • The Rams are coming off a statement win against the Vikings

  • Philadelphia’s defense has been outstanding all season

  • Jalen Hurts has struggled to produce on the offensive side of the ball

The Los Angeles Rams travel to Philadelphia to take on an Eagles team that has been stellar on the defensive side of the ball. The Rams are coming off the season's most impressive win so far, upsetting the 14-win Minnesota Vikings.

Los Angeles finished the regular season at 10-7, while Philadelphia went 14-3. The records can be misleading when looking at this game because the Rams are playing their best football at the right time in the NFC playoffs.

Los Angeles is full of veterans on both sides of the ball, and Sean McVay has plenty of experience. You can say the same thing about Philadelphia, but their offensive production has recently been shaky.

Rams vs. Eagles Predictions and Prop Bets

Rams vs. Eagles My Pick

We are backing the Rams with the points on the road for this contest. The Eagles haven’t been that impressive moving the ball, and the Rams' defense can keep them in this game.

Matthew Stafford was excellent in the first playoff game, and we expect a similar performance against the Eagles.

Stopping Saquon Barkley will be the Rams' most significant challenge, but their defense is playing as well as anyone right now and we trust them to hang with the Eagles.

Rams vs. Eagles Predictions

The Rams were able to put up 27 points on the Vikings despite Cooper Kupp having just one catch in the game one week ago. Matthew Stafford threw for 209 yards with two touchdowns but now faces a much more formidable defense in the Eagles.

Philadelphia defeated Green Bay 22-10, but the offense isn’t performing as it should now. Outside of Saquon Barkley, the Eagles have had difficulty moving the ball in the passing game.

A.J. Brown had one reception for ten yards in their first playoff game. We can't trust them in this spot because of the lack of production Brown has been giving the Eagles.

We expect Los Angeles to stack the box and focus on stopping Barkley to force Hurts to throw the ball. If they do this, the Rams should give the Eagles all they have and cover this game in a dogfight.

Rams vs. Eagles Best Player Props

Kyren Williams Anytime Touchdown (-115) at FanDuel

Kyren Williams is a massive reason why the Rams are in this position at this point in the season. He has been a touchdown machine, scoring 14 times this season.

We think Williams finds the end zone in a game where the Rams will want to run the football because of the Eagle's strong pass defense.

Puka Nacua Under 7.5 Receptions (-110) at FanDuel

Puka Nacua has had another outstanding season, but the Philadelphia pass defense ranks number one in the NFL. He will be involved in this game but will be challenged in every play.

Cooper Kupp had just one catch in last week’s game, so we expect the Rams to look for him more, as he is taking targets away from Nacua.

Saquon Barkley Over 111.5 Rushing Yards (-115) at FanDuel

Saquon Barkley’s rushing line is very high, but he has cleared this nine times this season, including the last three games. Over this span, he has averaged 145 rushing yards, including a performance of 167 against Dallas.

The Rams' defense is average, but Barkley is nearly impossible to contain. The Eagles will continue to give Barkley opportunities, especially in the playoffs, and we think he will clear this number.

Barkley will likely win Offensive Player of the Year and rushed for 255 yards against the Rams on November 24.
