While both teams have an equally effective defense, the Buccaneers tend to score an average of almost 6 more points per game than the Rams do, so expect them to cover this spread in Week 11.

The Los Angeles Rams are 6-3 and currently in a three-way tie to lead the NFC West, so they could use a win against these talented Buccaneers, and LA will be bringing a 2nd ranked defense and the 7th most effective offense to this matchup so they have a legitimate chance to win.
The Buccaneers are 7-3 and remain just half a game out of first place in the NFC South to the New Orleans Saints, so beating the Rams in Week 11 becomes a necessity if they expect to compete for the divisional title or one of the three NFC Wild Card spots for the upcoming postseason.
These two cross-divisional NFC franchises have met each other 25 other times (including 2 postseason games), with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers winning 9 of those games and the Los Angeles Rams winning 16 of them.

The Rams currently have the 2nd most effective defense in the league after allowing their opponents to gain less than 300 total yards per game (296.4) and to score less than 19 points per game (18.7), which is the second least overall.
Los Angeles is slightly better against the pass than the run, which is a good thing given who the team is facing in Week 11, GOAT Tom Brady, who is slowly figuring out his new offense and his talented targets (see below) and is becoming one of the top scorers in the league.
Watch for guys like DE Michael Brockers and L Samson Ebukam and CB Darious Williams in this one, though it will be tough to take your eyes off DT Aaron Donald, whose high-level defensive play always seems to steal the show.
Once again QB Tom Brady is showing the league that he is the GOAT at his position, right now leading the league in pass completions with 254 and in attempts with 385, a guy who is 7-3 and already looking like a playoff contender.
Brady has thrown for 23 touchdowns this season with just 7 interceptions, and he is beginning to learn HC Bruce Arians offense and build connections with his talented receivers Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and now Antonio Brown, who has already been targeted 13 times in two games with 10 catches for 100 yards.
For Brady to keep the LA defense on its toes, he will need an effective run game to distract the opposition enough to get his receivers open, and RB Ronald Jones is slowly becoming that type of runner for Tampa Bay.
A key to a Rams victory will be a good game from receiver Robert Woods, who is one of QB Jared Goff’s favorite targets during the game, a 6’ 195 pound speedster who can run precise patterns and get open deep and over the middle of the field.
This season, Woods has been productive as usual, in nine games he has been targeted 60 times and has caught 42 of those passes for 469 yards and 4 touchdowns, and he is one of the main reasons the Rams offense is ranked 7th overall.
Woods shares the field with receivers Cooper Kupp and Josh Reynolds, and the three of them will be key to creating enough offense on Monday Night Football that the Rams stay in the game into the fourth quarter.
Bucs star receiver Mike Evans hasn’t had a 100+ receiving yards game since Week 4 when Tampa Bay was in Los Angeles and beat the AFC Chargers by a touchdown, which is the same number that Evans scored in that one.
To beat the Rams, Tampa Bay must get their passing game going, not an easy task is given Los Angeles is third-best in the league against the pass, so Evans, a big sized receiver at 6’ 5” and 231 pounds, must figure out a way to get open and yards after the catch and get the Rams secondary playing on their heels.
Evans and Brady are becoming quite the WR / QB pair, and a successful Monday Night Football showcase would be just the thing to put that duo on the NFL map, and earning the Bucs’ 8th win of the season would certainly be proof of that.
