The Baltimore Ravens have had the best kicker in the NFL, Justin Tucker. His field-goal percentage is 90.2%, and we expect him to have another great season. Josh Johnson is expected to start at quarterback for Baltimore.
It’s very important in the preseason to work live kicking reps. Tucker has such a big leg, if Baltimore crosses the 50-yard line, Tucker will get a chance.
Tucker has a career-long of 66 yards, and there is no doubt that the Ravens will settle for three points consistently. Baltimore is looking to win the AFC North again in 2024, and a big part of their success is thanks to the kicking game.

The back-to-back Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, are positioned to repeat again. Kansas City is going to have another great season behind Patrick Mahomes, but we will have to wait a few weeks to see him play a full game.
Mahomes is expected to play the first drive of the game and then will be replaced by Carson Wentz or Chris Oladokun. Points will be hard to come by in this game without their veteran quarterback and tight end, Travis Kelce.
We don’t expect to see Kelce, Rashee Rice, or Marquise Brown in the game after the first drive. Kansas City is looking to win the AFC West for a ninth straight year, but their stars will be watching this game from the sideline.

Minnesota comes into this season with a battle in the quarterback room. Sam Darnold is currently listed as their starting quarterback, but the Vikings selected J.J. McCarthy in the first round of this year’s draft.
Darnold is currently the starting quarterback, which means that McCarthy will likely see a lot of action in the preseason.
Rookie quarterbacks have not had much success in the preseason historically. We expect McCarthy to start slow in this game. Minnesota’s team total in the first half holds a lot of value if McCarthy is going to play.
Antonio Pierce has also had his defense ready to play every week, and we expect him to put a lot of pressure on Minnesota’s offense.

San Francisco returns in 2024 after a heartbreaking loss to Kansas City in last year’s Super Bowl. They are returning almost all of their key players in 2024, which featured one of the best NFL Offenses in the league.
Brock Purdy is not expected to see a ton of action in their preseason game on Saturday, but backup quarterback Joshua Dobbs has plenty of NFL experience.
Dobbs did an excellent job of filling in for the Vikings last season and is starting to get more comfortable. It’s hard to pass up a line like this when San Francisco is loaded with talent.
We expect to see Purdy or Dobbs in the first quarter, and we trust both quarterbacks to cover this spread.
