Best NFL Divisional Round Prop Bets: Look for Three Players to Shine

Published January 15, 2025
4 min read

The NFL Divisional round kicks off this weekend, and we are targeting three players to break out in their respective games.

Jahmyr Gibbs has been one of the best running backs in football, and his production has increased with David Montgomery being sidelined due to injury. We expect Gibbs to have a massive performance against Washington.

Isaiah Pacheco is finally 100% healthy and will get most of the production in the backfield for Kansas City.

Khalil Shakir has been Josh Allen’s favorite target this season, and we are taking his receiving yards against a struggling Ravens secondary. We are taking these player props on FanDuel Sportsbook

NFL Prop Bets for Divisional Round Games

Jahmyr Gibbs Over 82.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel

Gibbs has solidified himself as a top running back in the NFL, and Detroit has leaned on him this season. His production on the ground is almost unstoppable for any defense.

Gibbs has 1,412 rushing yards to go with 16 touchdowns on the ground. Dan Campbell does a terrific job getting Gibbs involved in all aspects of the game, but most of his production comes on the ground.

Gibbs has cleared this number in three straight games, exceeding 100 yards in all of them. He averages over 20 rushing attempts per game in this span, and his workload will only increase.

The Lions are 9.5-point favorites, indicating they will likely lead most of this game. If this is the case, Gibbs will get an increased volume as Detroit will try to run the clock with the lead.

Gibbs is part of why Detroit has found success this year; we expect them to continue to rely on him in this contest against the Commanders.

Isiah Pacheco Over 43.5 Rushing Yards (-110) at FanDuel

Before getting injured early on in the season, Pacheco was a key piece to the Kansas City offense. Every time he gets a touch, Pacheco wants to break a long run due to his aggressive running style.

This number is low because the Chiefs have also been using Kareem Hunt in the backfield. Pacheco has more playoff experience and will get most of the production in the run game.

Pacheco has cleared this number in four out of seven games this season. With his upside, this prop could cash early in the first half, with him fully healthy now.

The Chiefs are 8.5-point favorites, and we expect them to use the run game a ton against the Texans.

Look for Pacheco to get most of the snaps in early downs in this game. Kansas City has a ton of trust in the running back, and we expect a massive performance in this playoff game.

Khalil Shakir Over 51.5 Receiving Yards (-110) at FanDuel

The Bills don't necessarily have a number-one receiver, but Josh Allen always finds Shakir in big moments when it matters most. The wide receiver has 76 receptions for 821 yards with four touchdowns this season.

Shakir has gone over this number nine times, and this game could be back and forth with the Bills.

The Bills and Ravens usually put together great games with many points scored, so Shakir will get his opportunities down the field to cash this prop.

In the first matchup against Baltimore, Shakir had 62 receiving yards on four catches. He is also a big playmaker after the catch, which increases the number of opportunities for him to go over this number.

Look for Allen to lean on the receiver he has trusted all year and for Shakir to have an excellent performance against a bad Ravens secondary.
