As we head into Wild Card Weekend in the NFL, we have six games to look forward to, starting with the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars, and Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday.
Below we’ve created a three-leg parlay over at DraftKings Sportsbook with +611 odds. You can bet this now and get a $1,000 deposit bonus when you sign up for a new account using our exclusive link.
The Jaguars are in the playoffs and hosting a playoff game—who would have thought that coming into the season?
Against the Chargers, this is a challenging game to call, but we’ll lean toward the road favorite here.
The Jaguars' defense has played well recently, but they’ve also faced bad competition like the Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, and New York Jets over the last three weeks.
Against the Chargers, they’ll face a passing attack that may be without wide receiver Mike Williams but will have Keenan Allen, who should be in the line to wreck the game out of the slot.
The Jaguars have allowed 374 receptions out of the slot, which ranks 25th in the league. The Chargers have a poor run defense, so the Jaguars could utilize running back Travis Etienne here. However, I’d prefer a Chargers passing attack over a Jaguars rushing attack.
The Chargers will also have Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa in the lineup, which should create plenty of trouble for the Jaguars.
Man, it’s tough to lay 13.5 points here, but the Skylar Thompson-led Dolphins don’t inspire any confidence in me whatsoever.
With Thompson under center, the Dolphins managed just nine points last week, and the week before, he completed 12 passes for 104 yards and one touchdown.
The Dolphins' defense has not been good enough this season to stop an offense like the Buffalo Bills (they scored 32 in their last matchup), and the offense will struggle on the road.
The 49ers win this game, but we must take the points. In what is a divisional matchup, this will be the third time these teams have met this season, and the 49ers lead that head-to-head 2-0.
In their first matchup, the Seahawks lost 27-7, but in the second matchup with 49ers incumbent starter Brock Purdy, it was much closer at 21-13 in Seattle.
In that second game, Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith was efficient, completing 31 of 44 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown, but running back Kenneth Walker III had a down day with 47 yards on 12 carries.
Wide receivers D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett each had seven receptions, too.
Again, the 49ers will win this game, but in a third matchup between these teams and considering a matchup that landed within this line just a few weeks ago, we’ll give the Seahawks the points despite the loss.
